"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...
"The room was spacious and the food was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Japanese experience and at a lovely hotel with attentive staff. "
"No wifi inside the room! How come?
No cold water in the bathroom, only hot water..... asked to pay for the hot spring entrance but I was not told when booking!

"Clean hotel and great location near Nagano station. Good breakfast options. Nice park across the street for kids.
Very strict on checkout and luggage storage time."

The only issues are the stairs being steeper than most people are likely used to, and the futons can give you a stiff back. The price is nice in that it gives you the ability to try out the Ryokan experience without committing to a heavy price tag."
"The room was lovely and had lots of complimentary items. Highly recommend the breakfast, very yum and the staff are very friendly. Convenient location to the Zengoji Temple too. "
