"We come to Highlands on a very frequent basis, but this time we wanted to be in downtown in the middle of everything. The NEST was perfect in every detail. Every aspect was covered in this unit from welcome snacks and beverages to soft music playing on the Bose speakers. It was perfect and better than anticipated. Even the Highland's Tavern folks downstairs went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Once we parked our cars we were able to walk to every restaurant and shop we wanted to visit during our stay. The Nest will definitely be on our list for future visits to Highlands!"

"This place was everything we could have asked for. Beautiful views, lots of space, and easily the most well-stocked, turn-key vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. There’s a beautiful waterfall on the property that was great to hike to, and our kids loved the tree house, the arcade, and all of the board games and toys. Perfect for a family getaway. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Adorable little cabin is an 11 minute walk to Main St, in a quiet neighborhood. It included everything we needed, except toiletries (I always bring my own anyway so it was no problem). We were disappointed that a recent storm had knocked out the living room fireplace and TV and could not be restored during our stay. We loved the sound of the rain on the metal roof."

"Property as described. Very clean. Comfortable. Enjoyed the decks and views, just wish we didnt have so much rain to enjoy it even more! (The covered patio doesnt protect from rain well). Close proximity to town, "easy" walk in regards to distance (which is why we chose this place) however very steep walk home. Disclaimer: we're from florida so any incline seems steep, haha, but the road and driveway were def very steep! Made for a good workout. Most enjoyed bringing our two dogs for very minimal fee, which we appreciate! Loved our stay, enjoying the house, charming town, and nearby naturesque trails!"
