It may not be a big deal to some, but we stayed during 100F weather, so having to step out of the air-conditioned space was not ideal. "The staff was very friendly and informational. I picked this hotel because it was pet friendly and they were very welcoming and accommodating to everyone in my party! The hot spring pools were lovely and the hot tub. The location is perfect for Calistoga downtown and surrounding winery visits. I will definitely visit this property again.
