"Upon arrival we were greeted and offered to dine while we wait to check in. Check in was simple through an app and we were offered welcome cocktails. We did during our stay have some questions regarding the all inclusive menu as there were some restrictions we hadn't anticipated however the staff was very quick to respond and offer solutions so we could enjoy beverages we desired. "This is a recently renovated old hotel. It still has that grand hotel ambience. It's a little off the city center but is still quite easy to walk to all the things you want to see or eat. The sea view is actually a view of the ferry port, so that's not much. The breakfast is excellent. Overall, it's quite nice. "

"The hotel is right beside the Archeological Museum and within walking distance of many other attractions. Parking is available (EUR 14/night): you pause outside in the busy street, double-parking is normal, to unload luggage and the hotel staff will then take your keys and whisk the car away to somewhere else -- give 20 minutes notice whenever you want it back. "If you are looking for a small town Crete experience this is a good place for that. Everyone was friendly, the house was cute and looked like the pictures. The hosts dinner recommendation, a short walk away, for Ethimiko, was very good. The only real issue we had was that the WiFi was not connecting in the room. If you want a disconnected experience this is your spot. The host did let us know they are working on getting a router for the room so this may be fixed soon. "
