Riverside holiday lodge - Norfolk Broads. Quay headed mooring, pet friendly.

"Although you have to drive down the service road to get to Ferry Lodge it all helps to make the magic when you park up and open the wooden get to your holiday break. You will find a very clean and comfortable place that offers you a total relaxing vibe from the minute you step onto the decking and take in the view of the river, and after setting in you will enjoy waving to the boating folk as they pace bye and it makes that drink weather it be a glass of wine, beer or a cup of coffee or tea taste even better. On a clear night you will get a lovely sun set that drops over the trees on the far bank. You will be treated to a visit several times a day by the swans and ducks. We always enjoy our stay as it never fails to recharge our spirit. The fishing from your own decking keeps all happy for hours. Great pub that serves food as you cross the railway on your way in along with a good fish shop and a lovely cafe off to the left after the pub. Would recommend a visit potter heigham for food, gift shopping and a good fishing tackle shop. Best Regards Rob & Jayne"

"Had another great stay at River View. We went for my wife's special Birthday to a place she loves. I took my small fishing boat and launched it using NHL'S own slipway which is very handy for all the properties. ( I am lucky that the wife also loves fishing ). The large front garden also gives me a safe place to park my trailer. And the river side garden is somewhere we love to sit in the evening after fishing. The boat is moored on the river at the well maintained landing. Inside is just as advertised clean ,comfortable and generally well set out. And the personal touch for my wife's special birthday was much appreciated by us both."

"We arrived and were immediately impressed with the spectacular veiws across the river Yare. All mod-cons were afforded without aircon though this was not required during our stay. The decking is completely secure with those with children or dogs. Would thoroughly recommend and will return soon."

"We had a wonderful stay at River Breeze. The accommodation was really clean, very well maintained and in a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking in the evenings overlooking the water and exploring the broads by boat during the day. There is a lovely cafe at the end of the marina which took around 10 minutes to walk to and we also hired kayaks and paddle boards from Pub and Paddle which were delivered directly to the property. We had a really comfortable stay at River Breeze and the property had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property and if we were to return to explore the southern broads again in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to book again."

"This was our 4th visit to River Rest and yet again we were not disappointed. Everything about the property makes you come away feeling so relaxed. Tina was as attentive as ever, she goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy. There was lots of fishing, although I did not have the same opportunity this year as we spent more time away from the lodge. Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you to all the NHL team."

"Location was excellent no complaints with that.But it needs some TLC inside and out.The cleaning was not upto standard from other places we've been.Dead flies on kitchen counter, grease under the dish drainer.Extractor fan switches was greasy.Cobwebs in conservatory.Dishwasher smelled as you opened it didn't feel like we could use it.Towels in bathroom smelled musty.And the private dock is dangerous and shouldn't really be used.2/3 planks broken and giving way.Knives and scissors in the block can't really used effectively as so blunt.Gate missing so be careful when letting your dogs outside. It does have a cart to carry stuff from the car to the house which was useful."

"Just had the most fabulous relaxing holiday stay at Innisfree House. The location is absolutely perfect for relaxing, with a local bakery and pubs not too far away. The view of the river was really something special !! Sitting on the deck watching the boats go by with a drink in hand was perfect. There is plenty of wildlife about including swans and ducks etc so take lots of duck food. This really is a special place and has given us one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had."
