The hotel lives up to its' boutique classification. From the clean room itself to the toiletries provided, we were really happy with our stay. The bed was so comfortable. The room has a great clean smell since its new. We always stay at 5 star hotels in Brisbane and the quality of this hotel from the current 5 stars in the city was much better. We do hope that the management will be able to maintain the quality and cleanliness of the rooms especially the bathroom as we can truly say that...

The woman who served us when we checked in was EXTREMELY rude to both my partner and I. We wont ever book there again because of this. Other this, the hotel was actually really nice, rooms are of a high standard. We were very upset and disappointed

We were surprised how good these apartments were - ground floor, beautifully appointed, great facilities including a small pool, gym, bbq area, bar lounge room. We always look for self-contained accommodation as we love to eat in and relax after a long day's drive.

It's the only place we stay when visiting toowoomba. Perfect little home away from home. I recommend the bungalows as they're private and equipped with everything you need. So cheap but better quality than you would expect for the price.

Rooms are clean and new looking. Staff were helpful. Only thing that could have made it slightly better is if the room had a microwave. But it's pretty common these days for there not to be one.

The best area to stay in Helidon is in the heart of the village, particularly around the main street, Turner Street.
This central area offers convenient access to local amenities and the village's main points of interest. Helidon is a small, quiet village, so staying centrally means you're never far from what's available. The Helidon Spa Complex, known for its mineral springs, is a significant attraction here.
For couples looking for a relaxing retreat, staying near the Helidon Spa Complex is ideal. The focus on wellness and the peaceful surroundings make it superb for unwinding. You'll find accommodation options that allow easy access to the mineral springs and opportunities for quiet walks in the surrounding area.
Families might prefer options that offer a bit more space and easy access to local parks or open areas.
When is the best time to go to Helidon?
While Helidon is a destination primarily for its natural hot springs and offers year-round appeal, the best time to visit is during the cooler, drier months from April to October.
During these months, the weather is more comfortable for outdoor activities and enjoying the springs. Daytime temperatures are generally mild, averaging around 20-25 degrees Celsius, with less humidity and a lower chance of rain. This makes it ideal for relaxing by the pools, exploring the surrounding parklands, or taking a leisurely stroll.
Families often find this period particularly suitable as the pleasant weather allows children to enjoy extended time outdoors without the intensity of summer heat.
