"Rooms were very spacious and the staff was helpful. This was the first hotel i went to where not all staff knew english. But thats totally fine. Youre in a foreign country and shouldnt expect them to know English. The amenities were great and dinner and breakfast were AMAZING. Such a shame we only did breakfast and dinner once during our stay. "

"Beautiful location, clean room and excellent onsen to soak in. During our stay, we were treated to a great selection of shampoo/conditioner, ice cream, drinks etc. Food was excellent as well. The hotel offers a free boat ride to Miyajima at 10am and a return trip at 3.30pm (needs reservation). It's a 15-min walk from the train station but you can get an uber if you miss the hotel shuttle. There is also an oyster restaurant next to the hotel, which serves really fresh oysters...visit it if you like seafood!"

"Shuttle for bags during the day and a shuttle to get you to the hotel later that day was excellent. Room was beautiful and peaceful. Food was fantastic as were all of the staff! "

"This hotel is very conveniently located near the ferry station, making it ideal for visiting Miyajima early in the morning or later in the evening, away from the crowds. Miyajimaguchi itself is also a pleasant area to relax and enjoy good seafood. The room was clean, efficient and cozy, and the staff were very kind and helpful. A lot of amenities provided. I also discovered buckwheat pillows here for the first time and absolutely loved them — I will definitely look into getting one back home! "

"The hotel is fantastic. Location is ideal, steps away from the ferry terminal and a short walk from the shore across from the O-torii gate. Staff is always helpful and courteous, the room was wonderful, with a view of the harbor. There is a bar that serves good food next to the lobby, and a great bakery for breakfast. The one thing we would recommend the hotel to modify is the following: There is a nice formal restaurant in the basement level that is supposed to be really good, and every sign and reference to it mention it closes at 9pm. However, last entry is at 7pm, and this is not mentioned anywhere until you actually get to the restaurant. We got there at 7:40pm, so for us it was too late, and we were unable to enjoy the restaurant. We will have to do it next time! And by the way, we would definitely stay at Miyajima Villa Hotel again. Highly recommend."
