"A lovely heritage hotel in the heart of Ballarat. Many original features including original sandblasted glass with 1850s motifs. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed a week, and the room is only serviced on request. The staff are very friendly and helpful. "

"Air conditioning was on the smelly side, no toaster or microwave, had to be hired. No dishes or cutlery, needed to ask for them. Staff were good though and also the in room fridge was incredibly noisy especially at night when trying to sleep."

"We did not use the spa as we are a bit old for that. The only problem we had was using the shower as I found it quite difficult getting the water temp right and the water pressure was a bit low. The bed was excellent and the lounge quite comfortable. The TV was great and had a good selection of channels to choose from. The room was very clean. We had a very pleasent stay,"

"Not so clean I saw spider web at the corners and some black worm at my room but bed was clean. It was not kitchenette and I ask for knife and spoon. Pool wan not so pleasing to use."
