Good value for money. Two bathrooms are shared with nine or 10 bedrooms/guests, so no issue with that. Room #2 is beside one of the bathrooms, so the folks having a 6:00 AM shower will wake you up.

This is just a house that rents out rooms by the night, not the MacMaster dormitories. Only parking for 1 car for the whole house, despite having 3 or 4 separate rooms, otherwise its street parking. Much of the house, bedroom and common spaces, are in various states of disrepair.

NO AIR CONDITIONING. I was shocked to find out they do not have air or ceiling fans. Nothing. Just morbid stifling heat. We went to another hotel just to survive. Average temp the weekend I was there was 30 Celsius. Not having air in August 2024 is UNACCEPTABLE. How do you say a cheap owner without saying a cheap owner?

Cheap room here meant really very cheap room. No TV and no telephone, very small basement room. Very recently arrived from Thailand with no phone switched for Canada yet, I would have depended on a room phone. Pay C$20 more per night and have more than absolutely bare bones there; in this case a bed, a chair, a desk and a built in wardrobe. - Bus, taxi and all other necessary basic questions and assistance remain unanswered; speak Polish only. Asked a street pedestrian to call a taxi for me. Wants C$800 rent monthly!

Horrible unsafe place to stay

Horrible place that should not even be listed with your company. I'm actually thinking of never booking with you again! I trust that you would send me somewhere safe. First the guys sent me the wrong entry code. Second they had no working exterior lights! So even trying to enter the entry code was difficult only to find out it was the wrong code. The worst was that they were doing construction around the front and back (see the pictures attached). There were holes that were 10 feet deep that anyone could EASILY have fallen into, there were NO LIGHTS! This would be a huge liability to you! Very very bad!! Then I go to the shared toilet and it rocked so bad that it almost came out off the ground!

Out of towners.

It was clean if you need a place to stay for a night or two. a little noisy, with others going and coming in the night.. There was free coffee. The toilet in the basement needs fixing, it's rocking real bad.

Location and availability was the only thing going here. Netflix was bonus.The bed was comfortable. Other guests were noisy and street noise being near university was loud. Bathroom was dirty with hairs and dust on floor. Couch in living room was taped together and not a place we would want to sit and watch the tv which was too bad as Netflix was available. Window blind in bedroom would not close all the way, no bedside light, room hot and would hear furnace go on and off frequently as it was loud. NOT worth the price they charged.

Not worth the low price!

The property is a mess and two older tenants are basically forced to manage the property on their own time. The building was filthy and there is no A/C. Literally any inn or motel would be a step-up from this place.
