This motel has been there a while—it’s been well used and it shows. Really could use some renovating. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The property however, is beautiful!! Sunset and river made it all worth while!

Great location and amenities and clean

It's a great location on the river and great views, a BBQ to cook on if wish with hammocks, loungers and a fire pit out back. I received a free upgrade due to a discrepancy in the listing for the room I booked with proof of the mistake and the stay was great besides the neighbors loud TV while they weren't even in the room but that's not the motels fault. The rooms are as pictured and clean. I'll be back and recommended to family for a day trip.

If you have too....

Granted we just needed a place to stay for a fishing trip on Erie. Its pretty rough looking outside. Several "guests" who live there. Several work trucks so workers stay there. Not a bad thing but just saying. Its just a very tired scruffy kind of place. We were looking forward to sitting out back by the rivers and dinner at the picnic tables but the chairs are grubby and the picnic tables in really rough shape. We watched another couple attempt to but the woman refused to take a seat and they left the yard area. Its ok for a nights stay but I'll never understand why people let these little motels fall into this condition. Many sit at the seating by each door smoking so that wasn't an option to sit outside. We did note the king size bed was very comfortable and thankfully got a good night sleep. I really dont like to and rarely do write a less than good review but it is what it is.

Good Hotel!

Check in was quick and simple! Hotel room was clean and beds were comfortable! Hotels usually say they have good tv but usually don’t! This was not the case with the Riverview motel! Had a variety of kids channels which is great to help kids keep occupied during down time! Internet was also really good! Room came with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker which was great as well! Pizza places, Chinese restaurant, laundromat, 24 hour gas station, Avondale, and Subway are all within walking distance! Across the street from the hotel is a park, pavilion, skatepark, and a pool! Great for something to do when the kids are bored! Hotel has a propane bbq, and fire pit area with lots of picnic tables and chairs to sit on! Kids had a great time catching minnows in the grand river on the dock! The hotel is a 20 minute walk from downtown Dunnville where there is a dollar store, grocery store, restaurants, etc which comes in handy if you need to get something or have forgotten stuff! There are four chickens living next to the property that the kids got a kick out seeing!
