The property is very clean, comfortable and peaceful with all necessary facilities. The breakfast menu was excellent. The restaurant served good food from a slightly limited menu at very reasonable prices. We would certainly stay again if we are in the area. One small improvement could be made to the en-suite shower by fitting a grab handle and or a non slip mat.

Great stay
1 night stay, the room was very nice with top class bedding, towels etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well heated for a November night. Food was great, I had fish and chips for dinner and full English for breakfast and both were delicious.

Well worth it.

Rooms are a good size and very well kept. Decor excellent and well provided tea/coffee facilities and bathroom products. Restaurant spacious and food served hot. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant menu limited, no options for starters, but the steak that we had was cooked exactly as requested and was very good. Desert menu also limited, but again our choices were very good.

I loved how unique it was. Although it was modernised, you could still feel the age of the building. The surroundings and rooms were very pleasantly decorated. The furnture was old, but made new looking, without being tacky. If there was anything I disliked, I never found it. Fantastic place, with fantasic beautiful, people. So friendly. I travelled and stayed on my own, but I felt safe.

Perfect stay, from arrival to departure. Service is 110% with a smile, and nothing is too much! The room, breakfast, service and food in the evening in the pub, all excellent!! Perfect stay for visiting the surrounding area or for a wedding venue nearby!

Enjoyable stay in every way.
Ourroom was large, bright, and featured a Dutch (half) door. Room service was also excellent. Parking, always a consideration, was ample. We were able to enjoy the pub as well as a fine breakfast. Close to Kentwell House if you are inclined to visit moated manors.

This is a fantastic place to stop, the owner obviously take’s great pride in ensuring you have a lovely stay. The accommodation is first class the pub and restaurant is very upmarket and service couldn’t have been better.

It was a very nice room. Clean and looked as if it had just been refurbished. Well looked after. My only gripe was it took the shower a long time to warm up. I would recommend staying.
