"Beautiful spot. The chairs and fire pit out back are perfect. The large dining room table was more than efficient. Balcony views and chairs were great. Overall, the house was exceptionally clean. One really impressive feature- they have enough outdoor chairs to accommodate the amount of people for which they advertise the house. As someone who travels occasionally in large groups, this is rare. We had one small cleaning issue, but were able to get someone in to take care of it. I would definitely come back. Important to note- the full bed in the garden room is on rollers. The bed was tough to keep in place. I hope the owners will consider putting a real bed in the space. "

"We honestly can't put into words what an absolute RESPITE this beautiful place is! It was scrupulously clean, provides what you need, (the water pressure in the shower is amazing) and the setting is a tranquil "Shire" type setting that is a joy to just look at or photograph. The host, Phil, is friendly, kind and so interesting! Close proximity to all we wanted to see and do. We definitely will be returning! "

"We love old homes and all their quirks, so be ready for that. The decks overlooking the Rockport bay were lovely, and being able to walk on the sidewalk to Bearskin Neck and the beaches and park was terrific. To be clear this place is not luxurious. While it is well stocked with a new coffee maker, bean grinder, air fryer, and coffee and spices and cookware, the stove and dishwasher are on their last leg and some of the bathroom hardware needs replacement. But the bottom line is it is a great value for the price and we loved it. "
