"This adorable house was way cuter and in even more pristine condition than I imagined! It was a delight to stay here. My daughter and I rode the train from Boston, walked through town and also to the hotel. It is a super short walk (up and down a tiny hill) to town for shops, restaurants, galleries, and even the beach. We felt absolutely safe walking after dark as two females. We weren’t quite ready at check out time and the hosts were very accommodating and let us stay about an hour longer, which we greatly appreciated! I believe they live onsite which is a nice comfort feature when having no front office and person greeting you as you arrive. The check-in was very easy and anyone can do it. In fact, the front door was unlocked for us and our room door was open and ready for our occupancy. As we approached the house, my daughter mentioned she felt like a snack and upon arrival she found York Peppermint patties placed several places in the common areas. We would’ve LOVED to stay another night (or three) but we have to get back to reality!!"

"This beach house was everything we were looking for. We had a great family vacation second year in a row at one of Rachel’s great properties in Rockport.The house was perfectly clean, cool, and well equipped for cooking and grilling and enjoying the beautiful outdoor area. The hot tub was a fun bonus and the best surprise was the outdoor shower which made getting home from the beach trips with little kids breezy.We walked to the beach and Bearskin Neck easily each day.The host is on top of every detail and puts a lot of care into everything. We look forward to staying again! Thank you!"

"The property is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The main attractions within Rockport are all within walking distance and nothing on the entirety of Cape Ann felt more than a 15 min drive away. Great rental and great place to visit."

"We had a wonderful stay at the View and spent many afternoons watching the boats in the harbor. This house is very comfortable with three mini-splits for AC and a fully loaded kitchen. Lots of dishes, cookware and many staples. The washer/dryer was useful for our week-long stay. Many puzzles for the one rainy day. I will say that I didn't want to stay here bc of the price, but my husband wanted the view. The only negatives were that the pictures of the deck make it look HUGE when in fact it is kind of small although plenty of space for 4-5 people - just somehow is way different than the pic. My husband was disappointed at first, but the setup is very utilitarian so it totally works and is comfortable (and gorgeous!). Communication was great with the rental company. The main bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house which is great for multi-families. The neighbors are all friendly and we chatted with several (and saw them in town). There is a great walking trail to a quarry just at the end of the street. Walking into town is downhill all the way (so coming home...) and a bit of a hike - 10 minutes to Back Beach and 25 minutes to Bearskin Neck. We did a mix of walking and driving in. Parking in Rockport was not bad (except on the 4th of July - to be expected). Overall a great stay, but a bit pricey."

"The house was a great location to walk into Rockport for the beach and food/shopping, etc. There were three decks with water views ! The house was great for my family of 4 and I highly recommend it. We had a lovely time!!"
