"We had a wonderful stay at this property. As a group of 11 with five children under the age of 13, the property was well loved and not so precious that we had to watch every move that our children made. The property is very close to a grocery store, which made it very easy as most of our meals were at the house. There is a larege yard for running around and a very large pool which the kids loved. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and the cottage was an added bonus for the introverts in our family. Nancy was an exceptional host and was quick to respond to our queries. Would highly recommend."

"My family of 7 plus our little dog had a great time at the Outrigger in Kona. 2 nights werent enough though. Pools are family friendly, rooms were clean and the staff a super friendly and helpful."

"Very nice property. And very clean, which is always appreciated. Also, both bedrooms ((each with their own bathroom)) were located on the main level. So not having to drag your luggage up a flight to get unpacked is A BIG PLUS. Unit is very nicely appointed with everything you need and might forget. ((For us, that was umbrellas.)). Yeah, pool floaties, snorkeling gear and flippers….. on and on. If you have it at home, then they probably have it there. And if not sure, just Text them and ask ! Super fast and kind communication through out our stay. Free covered parking near the unit to keep your car cool and dry. Walking distance to the Keahou bay beach park and marina. So convenient for our morning snorkeling excursion aboard the Fairwinds, out to Captain Cook’s bay, and our nighttime snorkeling event with the Manta Rays. VERY cool. You will enjoy your stay. "We had an incredible stay! This was our 2nd time in Kona and 2nd time at Kanaloa, but this condo is truly outstanding. The views are stunning, sunsets especially, and the space is even bigger than it looks. We saw dolphins off the balcony every morning, and manta ray snorkelers every night. Highly recommend and would happily stay again! Thanks again! A few things to note, which were not at all problems for us but others may want to keep in mind: - A flight of stairs to get into the main door, another flight of stairs up to the main floor, and a 3rd flight of stairs to the master bedroom. - The small bedroom doesn’t have AC. If the door is left open, some air from the other side of the condo can make it in there, but it’s definitely warm. - The complex sprays for pests monthly (liquid spray on all tile surfaces inside, takes a few hours to dry), so those with little kids may want to be aware. - If a late checkout is available, the only option allows guests to stay until 4pm for an additional half-day charge. But there’s lots to do if you check-out like normal. - Beds are super comfy and kitchen has everything you need. - Tons of great beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and toys! It’s normal to only be given enough TP, paper towels, etc to get you through a day or two, but there are stores nearby and in town."

"The location was beautiful and my husband and I were excited to stay at a place with its own pool. Unfortunately, the host was not friendly or welcoming from the start and then accused us of lying when we had to leave 1-day early due to an infestation of bugs (large cockroaches, large ants, millipedes). I pointed out to the host that the screens on most of the doors/windows had various holes, but that was ignored and I was accused of leaving the screen doors open, even though we were diligent about closing them immediately upon entering/exiting. I also pointed out that the valance on the blinds broke off when I opened the blinds and then later was faulted for that, even though the blinds were old and loose. I was insulted via personal text messages and told I was a liar. The host was the actual liar and tried to gaslight me when I shared a photo of a large cockroach we caught in the room (one of several). He called the cockroach a beetle (a "Kona Cruiser") and said they were nothing to worry about. I have never been accused of lying or received rude messages from a host for simply pointing out needed repairs and an obvious bug problem. Also, the hosts left very religious media (dvds/books) in the room that were homophobic and intolerant of diverse beliefs. The place would be great with a different host and much-needed repairs. This stay really affected us mentally for some time afterwards and put a damper on our time in Hawaii. Guests beware."

"Ocean view was beautiful! With a grassy area right out front of the condo to the cliff side. The lanai has a beautiful view of the ocean with a table for four, a wet bar, & lounge chairs. The living area opens up to the lanai also! The condo was very roomy with one large full master bedroom / bathroom, an extra guest full bathroom and a Murphy bed pull out in the living area, which was large also. The full kitchen was very equipped with utensils /pots& pans etc a dining table also. Would highly recommend this condo, especially if you have more than two people! They also supply beach items any regular household items that you might need, also had a closet full.. with items like beach towels, thermal bags for the beach and a highchair, games & TVs for the rainy days (which unfortunately we had during our stay) and even some lotions, antiseptics etc. The secure area with the other condos -very beautifully landscaped with 3 Pools,Tennis Court, ping-pong table and beautiful scenery for the sunset with walking trail along the cliff shore line.The host was very easy to get a hold of and always responded promptly with any questions. 5 stars for sure!! "
