"Great location that made it easy to get around anywhere walking, and an overall awesome value for Kona! The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend and I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm on the Big Island. "

"My stay at Kona Islander Inn has been nice, and it's ongoing .. I had to switch condo units yesterday because the first one was prebooked. The community is in a perfect location to most activities in Kona, and the shops are close by for groceries. There's a nice pool area, a welcoming lounge, and laundry facilities. Paradise everyday! "

"The property itself was fine. I didnt like that they left opened condiments and a water bottle in the refrigerator. Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. However, the entry code did not recognize my code after 10 am. I tried contacting the...

"Room was bright and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous, surrounded by lava rock. The pools were great. The adult pool hardly ever had anyone in it, but even the main pool was never too crowded and always had a great vibe. The food at the restaurants was good but came at a price. The breakfast buffet is not worth it at $37 per person. You're better off ordering from the breakfast menu or using the grab & go option. I would overall recommend eating out in Kailua-Kona rather than at the hotel. The poolside bar is convenient for small bites and drinks while relaxing at the pool. We wanted to attend the Luau (which only runs twice a week) but were told that it was cancelled due to low attendance numbers, which was a real shame. I'm not sure how often that happens or if we stayed during a slow time (end of October). The hotel is conveniently located to the bay where many snorkeling and manta ray tours leave from. We did both and enjoyed them immensely."
"The condo was spacious and clean; had everything you would ever need in the kitchen. Great ocean front view. Beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards were in the closet."
"We had a 2 bedroom Ocean View condo. It was very affordable for 6 people for 10 days. The condo had plenty of space including a large upstairs bedroom with a full bath with a partial ocean view patio, a bedroom on the middle floor with a patio facing the mountain side, a large living room/dining area, large enough full kitchen, and another large ocean front patio where we comfortably sat all six of us. The room itself though not super updated(but that didn’t matter to us) was very clean, had plenty of amenities such as dishes, cookware, towels/toiletries and additional upon request. The hosts also had extra things such as paddle boards, goggles, a snorkel set and tennis balls available to use which I thought was a lovely extra. The only thing I did not like about the room that I was disappointed about was that the “1 double sofa bed” listed in the ad was an air mattress. I was expecting a pull out couch. When I requested a rollaway bed, they did not have any. The area was quiet, had several community bbqs in which we used regularly and were always able to find an open one that was easy to use. Pools were clean and not overcrowded(we did go during off season in October). The view of the ocean was amazing, although there were a couple palm trees that obstructed the view at sunset. Overall, with 4 adults, a 15 year old and a 7 year old, we really enjoyed the condo and the property. If we return to the area, we would stay here again if it were still affordable and available. "
"From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the perfect house for us. The lush surroundings were exactly what we love, and the view from inside was absolutely stunning. It was peaceful and quiet we especially enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds in the morning. The house was very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and great air conditioning. The location was perfect close to the beach, shops, grocery stores, and the farmers market. We’ll definitely be back!"
"We had a WONDERFUL stay, rooms were comfortable and super clean!! You cannot see the ocean from the surfer room, but there is a wonderful outdoor kitchen/Lanai just up the stairs where we could see a mildly obstructed view of the ocean. We will def be back! "
Awesome one of the very best!!!! Unbeatable quiet location and great ocean view
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at Na Hale! Shawn was very helpful w our questions and the pool was great. We had a 7 month old who enjoyed it and we utilized the pack and play-looking forward to our next trip!"
"Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Our grandkids even said that, out of all the things we did and saw on the Big Island, being at the house was the best part! Pros: Very spacious and clean; fully-stocked kitchen; pool was the perfect size for us; large family room, bathrooms and bedrooms; hampers in each bathroom; in close proximity to several places we frequented (market, coffee shop, shaved ice, restaurants, chocolate and coffee factories, snorkeling…); ocean view. Cons: All the doors were louver-type, so we could hear everything; would like a few more sets of towels, flat bed sheets and throws, minor repairs needed (some fixtures coming off, lightbulbs, dishwasher “fell” out , couldn’t control a/c & ceiling fan in upstairs master bedroom). One concern we had was, when we got locked out of the house (the door code stopped working), we had a difficult time reaching the Jesse, property mgr."
