"Other reviews had some negative remarks about it being noisy, old and such, therefore I had some reservations prior to our arrival, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The establishment is an older building and with this comes thin walls, outdated fixtures and other bits but overall it was a comfortable stay. The building had a wonderful charm and had a pub on one side that became lively in the evening and yes, cause some noise but being from the city, nothing that would cause me not to be able...

"Really lovely stay in this quiet little Oast House. We stayed in a round room, beautifully decorated with ensuite shower room. Tea and coffee and biscuits, TV in room. Plenty of drawers and cupboard space for clothes. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely, and everyone was so friendly. We also had an excellent roast dinner on the Sunday. Just a short walk into Rye, which was a bonus. Would totally recommend it, and we hope to stay there again. "

"I had an excellent stay at The Horse Inn. The host was very welcoming, and the room was clean and tastefully furnished. My only criticism was that it could have been warmer, and there was no plug to the sink. The breakfasts were superb. "

"Welcoming pub, just stand between the beams if you're 6ft+ tall. Be aware breakfast only starts at 0830 which is too late for most working people but they made me a sandwich to take with me instead so that was appreciated."

"The check-in was super uncomplicated and Maria provided a very thorough explanation of the property. She was contactable by phone at all times. The location of the property is great, the property itself is a great old house with plenty of space and some nice extras (i.e. Tennis court and Hot Tub, both in good condition). Cleanliness, however, was disappointing at best. Fridge, kitchen drawers, oven etc had obviously not been cleaned for a while. All sinks and bathrooms were quite grim, bed...

"2nd visit here and 100% will be visiting next year beautiful quiet location and the property was immaculate with the most comfortable bed lovely views from room and balcony. The hot tub was amazing and secluded heating is excellent and Tv with Netflix and prime a few games like scrabble etc to play . Lovely pub and Indian restaurant 10 minute walk to the village kitchen well equipped oven kettle toaster washing machine even a dish washer . And Sam the host can’t do enough for you and is always...
