"We enjoyed the space the cabin had to offer as we are used to cramped cabins. Not stepping on each other’s toes was a big plus. We were a little disappointed in not being able to use the wood stove although the heating unit did a great job of keeping the place warm. We made great use of the outdoor fire pit. No luck finding any fish in the pond even though we tried."

"Our stay was perfect! The house is spacious, the bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and nicely appointed. We had a game room and really enjoyed the hot tub. We watched the birds from the back deck and had a view of Ty’s lake. It looks like the house was recently remodeled, and has some really nice details. I’d love to come stay here again."

"This was our second stay at the property. It is lovely and comfortable and we felt like we were coming home again. There's lots of amenities and extras. It was just my husband and myself and we were there to tend to my 97 year old Aunt who lives on Eden Isle. When we came in for the evening, it was like we were being wrapped in a warm blanket. I thank the owners deeply for their agreement to our special circumstances. We highly recommend this wonderful oasis."

Fishing, canoeing, playing in the front yard, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, grill! The layout was perfect for our family and having the 2 refrigerators was so convenient. "We stayed at Dripping Springs Retreat for the total eclipse of the sun and it was so worth it. The extra large front yard was the perfect location for eclipse viewing. We did have an issue with gas for the grill but we called and they brought us another tank of gas on a Sunday night what good service."

"The location is great. Very near Lacey's Narrows Marina. Good restaurant and a Dollar General nearby. The house has lots of room and is in levels so there is plenty of privacy but many spaces to gather. Decks, grills, fire pit and play areas were all used and great. I would recommend this property highly. Four couples stayed together and had 6 more over for dinner and everyone loved it."
