The Little Barn on the Hill...NEW! min. from town. Great back porch view w/ Loft

Our newly built barn can be perfect for a relaxing getaway in the Ozarks. This one bedroom with loft, one bathroom cabin can sleep 5. One queen bed downstairs and a queen and twinm upstairs in the loft. The couch can sleep someone, but it is not a hide a bed.

The kitchen has table seating for 4, and a bar space for one more. . Guests can cook their own meal in our stocked kitchen or head to town for several tasty restaurant options. We supply you with fixins’ for S’mores, Folgers coffee, and charcoal for grilling.

You can relax and rock on the back porch, sipping your beverage of choice while enjoying the sunset or some peace and quiet. (This is a Dry county, so come prepared)

Come here to unplug or get your work done with our provided wifi. There is a smart TV in the living room along with a tv with dvd player for entertainment upstairs. Games, books, and puzzle can also be found upstairs under the twin bed.

The barn is located just down from our house so we can help with any recommendations on restaurants or directions to good hiking trails.

If you need something a little smaller or for another part of a group, check out our other rental "The Little House on the Hill" Vrbo # 1935219. It is a quarter mile down the road. It also has a great porch and unique charm.

Wonderful place to stay! Great location, smells like cedar (which is wonderful), back porch is cozy! Only complaint is that the beds were not comfortable. Other than that we had a great time there!

Great place to stay! Clean! Close to everything. We had a wonderful time. It’s very peaceful and I loved sitting on the porch. Watching Gods creation! A must stay if you come to Mountain View.

Nice Mountain Cabin

Wonderful little cabin right on the mountain, just outside of town. Excellent amenities and easy process for checkin and checkout. I enjoyed it by myself but it would be great for a small family as well!

Quaint country getaway

The Little Barn on the Hill provides a comfy/cozy escape. Close to town with shops & food options. Not far from other attractions, like the blanchard springs cavern , fishing, hiking, canoeing/boating options. Or just stay in & relax. Enjoyable stay.

Best stay ever

This was our first time staying at a place like this. We usually stay at a hotel. It was amazing! It was perfect for the 3 of us. It was quiet beautiful. We will definitely be staying again, for a longer time.

Getaway with the grandkids

Unique setting, with fire pit out back…for hanging out and making s'mores. This was a Fall break trip with the grandkids to visit Blanchard Springs. Imagine their surprise when we arrived at The Little Barn…they loved it. This was an added bonus to our adventure.

Adorable Little Red Barn

Absolutely adorable! Would definitely stay again. Only negative is if you are looking for quite solitude the highway is close. Otherwise, this is a perfect place to stay while staying in the area. Very clean and inviting!

Wonderful Adventure!

Hubby and I took our grands to Mtn View for the holiday weekend. Our stay at the Big Red Barn was great! Kiddos’s loved the upstairs games and s’mores at the fire pit. We had everything we needed then some. Highly recommend. Close to town yet feels like your out in the country ❤️

From the moment we opened the door til the time we left everybody was in love with the place. All the little goodies and surprises (games, smore fixings, coffee, etc) were the cherries on top. If ever we can, we will be back.

Everything you need!

We were pleasantly surprised with how much is packed in to such a small place! We don’t have a small family and we never felt crowded. It may have helped that there was a Galaga video game in the loft! The kids were constantly taking turns playing on it. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy, although the queen bed in the bedroom was a little noisy. We didn’t do much cooking but the kitchen had what we needed. The kids loved that there were supplies for making S’mores. We even had a visit from a friendly neighbor dog and a little rabbit while we were sitting around the fire. We had a great stay and would definitely come again in the future.

If i could give them 100 stars I would. Every detail of our stay was thought of beforehand and the property was absolutely adorable. The kids enjoyed the complimentory smores and the games in the loft. My husband and I enjoyed the sunset from the back porch. Pillows were comfortable. Property easily accessible to blanchard springs and downtown Mtn.view for live music. We will definitely be back

great stay

Property was exactly as listed. Very cozy and beautiful. Small but but very efficient . Had everything we needed. Was not in town which is what we wanted, yet very close so we could go town easily. It is right off the highway , but still was very peaceful. We saw the brochure on the refrigerator for the J&J Trout Guide Service . We booked with him and went fishing. He was Great the fishing was awesome . The owner told us of a drive inn theater which we also did one night . It was awesome. We travel a lot of different places for spring break, but this year decided stay closer to home . We are so glad we did ! It was one of the best spring breaks we have had and we have been to lots of places and other states. Arkansas is still one of the prettiest states ever. We are from here and Arkansas and It is still one the best places to visit. The host checked in on us by text periodically to make sure everything was good with our stay and see if we need anything else. I appreciate that greatly many do not do that thru our many virbo stays. We definitely will stay again if we get the opportunity. We will for sure tell others who want to come there visit to book this little red barn.
