Great hotel, very new and the room was a good size with a good size fridge, kettle, and nice bathroom (agree with other reviews that lighting is terrible).
For a long weekend, and vivid festival, this was a great value option, even if nth Sydney is a bit out of the way for some of the things we did.
We had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay. Coles and aldi a few doors away too which is handy.

We recently stayed for three nights in a refurbished Horizon Room at the Shangri-La Sydney and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly well equipped, nothing was overlooked.
