Walk across a local manicured park or down a side street to the cathedral but I noticed all the tourist info. for Lisieux mentioned going elsewhere after seeing the cathedral. Relatively friendly town and a really nice quiet place to stay for the traveller. "

"The hotel is great, however the photos on Expedia are misleading. We paid a premium for the o Ean view suite and you don't get the same view posted on Expedia. Also the picture on the front doesn't show it's on a crowded street. The hotel wouldn't budge on the 11am checkout even though my jet-lagged children were sleeping and there were plenty of rooms to be cleaned ahead of ours. "
