Clean room and great staff

One day stay in Gardena, room was newly remodeled spacious room. Quite got a great night sleep.

This was my favorite hotel until they took away balcony access. I will be shopping for cheapest hotel in the area from now on.

We were 'greeted' at 2.50pm by a horrible lady at check in who didn't even say hello and basically growled at us to let us know that check in is not available until after 3pm. We heard her being unnecessarily rude to the couple in front of us in line too. What a horrible lady! Such a shame, because we later encountered two different friendly and helpful male staff. The rooms are old but in good condition, no breakfast available at the restaurant and not much around within walking distance except one average cafe. The location in Hollywood is quiet far to walk to most attractions. Also as we were about to check out, we had packed our bags and about to walk out, when the housekeeping lady knocked on the door at 11:01 (check out was 11:00) to tell us that we need to check out. Unbelievable... 1 minute over?!? Do better.
