DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION

I paid for and had a confirmed reservation 2 months prior to our trip. After not receiving responses to my multiple emails regarding access information, I called prior to coming and left a message for Jorge requesting that he call me. Upon arrival, multiple phone calls to VRBO who attempted to contact Jorge we were told that we did not have reservations. After being assured by VRBO that they would find us a hotel (2 couples) for the night and another accommodation, we had to find and pay for another accommodation for the rest of our week. Our money has not been refunded. Do not make reservations at this house.

Nice apartment close to La Medano

We enjoyed our stay in Villa Tejita with Christmas (6 persons). It is a nice apartment in a new complex just south of the airport. The apartment is spacious, clean and quiet, has everything you need, also wifi. There is no noise from the airport. The view from the apartment is bad: next to the apartment you see a huge tomato glass house like a factory. But otherwise the location is perfect; you just walk to a nice beach, you can surf and kite in La Medano, it is a good starting point to discover Tenerife and there are fantastic fish restaurants in Los Abrigos. Price/quality/location is recommendable!

Perfect house within a gated complex

Ideal location for the airport (Tenerife South is 12 mins away by car) and beaches (La Tejita is within walking distance, and El Medano is a short 5 min drive away). The garage, 2 separate pools (which are secure within a gated area) and close proximity to Cafe Bambale (which is accessible through a secure gate from inside the complex via one of the pools) make it an ideal stay. Shops in Los Abrigos, San Isidro, Las Chafiras and cafes also in El Medano, all a short drive away. Also drivable is El Teide (90mins, but worth the drive if you get their early) and Las Americas (30mins). The property is also bigger than the photos make it look, is alarmed and located within a gated complex, making it very secure for families. The owners were really nice and went out of their way to welcome us and help us out whenever we needed. They even provided a welcome food package with breakfast as we arrived late on Sunday night. The place was well appointed with pretty much everything you'd need (Large TVs in all rooms, decent Super King/King Size beds, both bath and beach towels provided, beach parasols, tennis rackets, etc). There were even a few bottles in the drinks cabinet for us to sample! Overall it was an enjoyable stay. If we to go back to La Tejita, we'll definitely stay here again as Esperanza and her husband were very kind and welcoming.
