"Just about okay but the hotel did not live up to the previous ratings. In fact, several regular guests expressed their disappointment. Especially both food and service quality of the buffet restaurant were below expectations. One out of only two elevators was out of service most of the time, and two little piles of floor dirt in the room remained untouched from before check-in throughout the stay.

"An amazing experience- felt like we struck gold. A beautiful old, rambling building with lots of nooks and crannies. Simple breakfast on the terrace watching Grenadilla come to life. Comfortable but simple room. Small

"Just had a great stay at the Hotel Medano. Great staff, big rooms, nice bathroom, good air conditioning and clean. The breakfast quality and choice was very good. The restaurant is open for lunch but not dinner. Plenty of good places close by to eat. The hotel is next to the beach and the town has a good vibe. I booked a seaview room butcthe seaview rooms with a balcony can see right into the room when sitting on their balcony."
