"The hotel is in a nice and quiet area, and the hotel itself is very beautiful and well-decorated. It’s a bit outdated with older elevators and worn seats, but it still has an elegant feel walking in. The staff is friendly and receptive. Their mini store is not great, it’s small and there was nowhere to get plastic utensils except at the bar. Which would be okay, but I had two small children with me that I wasn’t intending on bringing into a crowded bar. The pool area is nice. The pool is a decent size, and the hot tub is pretty great. It could be maintained a bit better throughout the day- a few times there weren’t enough towels, the bins remained empty over a period of 1-2 hours. There were also a few times that people had left food around the hot tub that wasn’t cleaned until the next day. The rooms are super spacious and the chairs are incredibly comfortable. I ended up sleeping in one during my stay because the mattresses were SO uncomfortable. None of us got quality sleep during our stay because they were just so bad. No microwave in the room but there was one in the mini store. Overall, it is an okay place to stay. Nothing really stands out, but nothing (except the beds) is really terrible, either. "

"I have stayed at this hotel now for 3 or 4 consecutive years. The hotel is now under new ownership and in my view they are just beginning to sort out how to run it and staff it. The hotel front desk is mainly staffed and managed by friends and family right now. The new owners have made extensive changes to the door locking mechanisms on all the rooms, which is impressive. The rooms are clean and the new policy of asking those with longer stays, if they want their room cleaned or fresh towels etc. on a daily basis was appreciated. We opted for weekly cleaning. The hotel is pet friendly. We had our cat in the room with us and it was fine. Parking is convenient outside the rooms. Room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and plenty of outlets, although wi-fi was a bit patchy. I will be definitely looking to stay at this hotel again, next time I visit my family. As the hotel is very conveniently located near Route 495 which is a major artery around the Boston suburbs. The hotel is right behind Cumberland Farms, which is convenient for gas and good breakfasts."

"This was the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. We arrived, and no one was at the front desk. We called and called, and had to wait quite awhile (close to 10 minutes) before staff showed up to check us in. After we were checked in and got to our Room, it appeared to not have been cleaned recently. Dust was on the clock, lights, bed frame, etc. A hair was in my bed, and on the bathroom sink. A light bulb was out on the sconce, and the alarm clock wasn't updated to daylight savings time. And the breakfast wasn't good either. Bananas were sliced and out with the other fruit. Turned brown and attracted flies. The flavors for the waffles were strange and unappealing, And the person who was cleaning and setting out the food, appeared to not have showered recently and smelled badly. All in all - not a great stay. "
