Spectacular Historic Mansion w/Pool&Tennis

Welcome to our luxurious retreat! Stunning almost 8,000 sq ft home is the epitome of history & elegance. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this historic home has:

-Multiple living rooms, 10 bedrooms w/16 beds & 5.5 renovated bathrooms
-Fully equipped kitchen w/2 sinks & 4 ovens
- An outdoor oasis over 5+acres w/pool & tennis court (pickle ball too!)
- Game room, play area, arcade

Whether it's a family reunion or a getaway with friends, we offer the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments.
The space
Spanning 3 large floors & almost 8,000 sq feet, this historic home was recently updated with special care to retain some of its old world charm.

1st Floor:

Kitchen -
Stocked with pots, pans, 4 ovens including a state of the art Bosch microwave/speed oven, Subzero refrigerator, cookbooks, Jenn-Air gas cooking range and more.

Eat in kitchen seating for 5-7 people for those quick meals.

High chair and children’s plate and utensils also provided.

Wine cooler, 2nd large sink, counter space for prepping and 2nd dishwasher

Living Room 1 -
TV with 3 comfortable leather couches & Board Games

Living Room 2 -
Large Ethan Allan sectional with TV, Roulette/Blackjack table, record player, and Poker table

Game Room with ping pong table, shooting hoops game and table for chess, backgammon, etc.

Large 14 person dining table in our expansive dining room, plus an optional adjacent entry table that can be used to sit an additional 5-6 people.

Located off the kitchen, this bedroom with a ceiling fan and black out curtains has a twin bed for those wanting easy access to the 1st floor.

Laundry Room -
2 new Samsung washers and 2 new Samsung dryers complement a separate sink basin.

Mud Room-
A place to hang coats, leave scarves, gloves or shoes.

Newly renovated with a beautiful vanity

2nd Floor:

Master Bedroom (Bedroom #2) -
King sized bed with TV, ceiling fan, work desk, black out curtains, full size mirror and Egyptian cotton linens. Also, has a connecting master bathroom.

Renovated double walk-in shower with rainfall shower head option. New luxurious claw feet tub along with a double sink vanity.

Great house for a large group! Very clean, spacious and full of plenty to do. We utilized the pool and tennis courts which are very well kept and had a blast! Was perfect for young children as well. Would highly recommend

A Truly Wonderful Experience

Our stay was amazing. It is fully stocked with everything you need. The place was large enough to accommodate us and it was beautiful. I wish were were able to stay longer. The place was private enough for us to enjoy nature and relax, and also close to shops for anything you may need.

This chateau is a really nice place to stay!!

This house is so big and beautiful we called it our chateau for the weekend. 6 families, 12 adults and 12 kids under the age of 8 stayed here for a long weekend. The place was perfect. It fit all of us comfortably. The pool and tennis court were a huge hit. The house was clean and set up perfect for families. Would 100 percent go back!

Excellent House

We had a great time with our extended family at this beautiful house. The tennis court and swimming pool were great additions to our stay and vacation. Some minor issues arose, but the owner was incredibly responsive and moved to fix any issues quickly and successfully. Would stay again!

This was the perfect getaway destination. We were a large group of adults, teenagers, and children. The house is fully equipped with everything you’d need to have a memorable family getaway together. Great house

The house was great for large groups. Lots of bedrooms and gathering spaces. The century+ place has been upgraded nicely, yet keeping its original charm. All of the small problems were quickly addressed by JT and communication was great. Will definitely consider booking again.

AMAZING

this house was AMAZING and met every one of our needs and exceeded our expectations. we had 3 children and 19 adults and every person was comfortable. the kids area was perfect and we barely saw them. we already started talking about what we can do next to to have an excuse to stay in the houee again.

Wonderful home for large family retreat

My family of 14 has been renting homes to gather for the holidays for many years and this one was one of the best. The bedrooms and gathering rooms were spacious and inviting, the dining table accommodated all of us (including two high chairs) and the third floor playroom was wonderful for my two year old granddaughter. It was December but we were able to try out the pickleball court, and there were lovely places to walk as a group a short car ride away. Worked so well for us.

Family reunion

Our stay was amazing! The house has preserved history and all modern amenities, including a well appointed kitchen. Plenty of safe places for children to play and for adults to hang out. Bedrooms were updated, clean, comfortable for all of us. The outdoor space was beautiful with grassy lawns, a hammock, spectacular outdoor heated pool, tennis/pickleball court. Communication, check-in was easy. Ideal for large gatherings. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!

Fun location for a family reunion

I reserved the house for a family reunion of about 20 people and had a great time. What I really liked about coming here:1. The house - It was spacious and elegant, had multiple living rooms, and had many bathrooms. This was perfect for our large group.2. The grounds - Although we did not use the tennis or pickleball courts because of the weather, we could see how nice it is to have right next to the house. Folks from our group went walking and running on the roads around the house and those roads were quiet and scenic. 3. The location - We catered meals from local restaurants and the logistics were a cinch. The house was also easy to get to from the NYC area We will definitely come back again.

Our family of 20 had an amazing time- the house is beautiful and very roomy with enough space to gather for games, etc. The 3rd floor playroom was awesome for our 6 and 7 year old grand kids! The kitchen is fully stocked with enough cooking equipment and utensils - making our cooking and eating for this # of people successful! The pool is beautiful with lounge chairs and tables and we even got in a couple of tennis and pickle ball games!
