It is second time I lived in Hotel Gosford, But I didnt realize how noisy it would be on Friday night due to the club on ground floor. Will not consider to come to stay during weekend.

I’ll write an honest review: Arrived at the hotel and the person checking in tried to charge me again….. and double what I had already paid. The air conditioning was making a terrible noise…… so I informed them and was told there was nothing they could do and told me if I don’t like it find somewhere else (it was 8pm at night) and I would be refunded the next day. So I got online and by 9pm found somewhere else to stay….. 5 days later and no refund so contacted Wotif….. they contacted the hotel and the manager told them they won’t be processing a refund The staff I delt with were rather rude, simply had no idea when checking in and definitely won’t be returning

Great room, staff were efficient, helpful and friendly, bed was very comfortable, parking was easy and location great. No noise from downstairs, only noise was from people using the shared bathrooms.

Old lift with metal gate..2nd floor with bags 82 and 75 yrs..no help..no breakfast ..smoking in gaming room..loud partying until midnight. No open window facility..no shampoo or conditioner..blind did work with pully twine

Some rooms have their window right over the loud music arena. They play music until late night and it is difficult to sleep with loud club music and drunk people shouting

Much better than I expected of a pub hotel/club venue. Yes it was noisy, however I booked knowing that it would be so take no issue with it. Loved that you could only get into hotel area with key, so felt safe

If you need to rest, this is not the place. The Fridays night music not end before 2am, and the room was terribly noisy. I had to put earplugs in, you could still hear it.

They have done a great job on tidying it up, the room was great.. keeping in mind this is a hotel, the noise upstairs was minimal, could hardly hear a thing! Great job!

Staff stayed back to facilitate a late check in when our flight was delayed, the complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits were a welcome sight waiting in the room for weary travellers

Decent, clean accommodation for the price but I could hear and understand every word being said in the rooms next to me and hallway outside my room Old school lift did not work most of the time, stairs were very loud Two rooms down had five hours (5-11pm) worth of screaming matches (with police attending twice) before they were eventually removed from the property. I don't understand why they were allowed to carry on as long as they did

One horse town with hotel
Pleasant room with plenty of space and coffee/tea making facility. Separate showers and toilets along the corridor. It felt a bit rural and hill-billy somehow with a bar downstairs full of noisy Australian men. The hotel part was quiet.

Planned catch up with friends from Sydney - friends had to cancel but we went along anyway. Pub is so well presented, staff friendly. Check in so easy and pleasant- checking out like saying good bye to friends

Nice place to stay for one night
We stayed for two nights 5 days apart. First night was a double room. Room clean, bed comfortable and bathroom clean. Room was a bit small but ok for one night. Second night stayed we got two single beds. Didn’t realise until got into room that it does not have a bathroom. Beds were ok for one night. Restaurant was good. Meals good as well as the atmosphere. Would stay again in a double but when travelling with a friend you have to share a bed lol

Overnight stay
Great spot for an overnight stay. Remember to make arrangements if you want to leave early as the carpark in the rear is secured and you need a pass code and to know where to return the key. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Was above a pub that closed at 1:30am but our room was at the back so noise wasn’t to bad. Staff were very friendly. Close to shops. Loved the old lift
