Mattress hard and pillows even harder. A beep continually sounded…non stop. The property was not pet friendly as all the gates were at least 8 to 10inches off the ground, allowing little dogs to climb under and run out onto a busy road. "2a Cardigan has all the comforts of home plus electric blankets! Our stay in winter is has been so cozy with an open fireplace (gas) in the main living and air conditioning throughout the bedrooms (we haven’t needed to use these). Its close to loads of great cafes and restaurants and just a short drive to Ballarat and close to grocery shops if you prefer not to cook. We have really enjoyed our stay, we can’t fault it."

"We absolutely loved the property, the animals were a beautiful sight to wake to amidst the picturesque fields. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchenette also was well equipped. Eddie put the heaters on for us prior to our arrival so the home was very warm. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the surrounding areas. Thanks for your hospitality Eddy."
