Perfectly situated: few minutes from center of old town and the train station/bus depot. An old building with much character. Rooms are small but comfortable. Staff is great. Can't think of anything that was missing or needs changing. Highly recommended

Hotel Stadt Hannover, set in a fine old house once owned by a professor in the university town of Goettingen, has great charm and comfort, with a wonderful staff. If these words appeal, to you, choose it. If you want most modern, go elsewhere.

Very conveniently located next to the train station and very close to many restaurants/bars. A very pleasant room with a complimentary breakfast spread. Staff was very friendly.

Close to the main station
Hotel is in a good location, about 5 minutes walk from the main train station and a short walk to the centre. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Very quiet place to stay.

Nice hotel, ok town
Great location, walking distance from everything. Just a one night stop as i was heading north. Town was just ok...nothing too impressive.

Ein kleines, freundliches Hotel in der Altstadt von Göttingen. Alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, dass Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sind einfach und praktisch.

Getränke unverschämt teuer...
...ansonsten sehr freundliches, engagiertes Personal, sehr gute Lage. Insgesamt recht teuer für 3 Sterne, Frühstück und Parkplätze extra zusätzlich zu bezahlen. Getränke an der Rezeption extrem teuer, teurer als im Restaurant!!

Wir haben uns die Mühe gemacht, unsere Getränkepreise mit denen des Kartoffelhauses, des Bullerjahns und eines weiteren Göttinger Restaurants zu vergleichen... Ihre Kritik hält diesem Vergleich leider nicht Stand. Wir sind nicht "unverschämt teuer", sondern bewegen uns auf dem "üblichen" Preisniveau, in einigen Bereichen sogar darunter. Sehr netter Kontakt im Vorfeld und zuvorkommende Begrüßung bei Ankunft, jeder gibt sich hier große Mühe, den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen, toll. Die klassische Einrichtung wirkt sehr anheimelnd und liebevoll, ein familiär geführtes Hotel mit wohliger Atmosphäre!

Für Bahnreisende ideal in Göttingen
"Stadt Hannover" beweist wieder einmal, daß "kleinere" Häuser unter privater Führung (nicht zu einer Kette gehörig), weil flexibler, ein besseres Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bieten können als die (sicherlich funktionalen) "Großen". Hier ist besonders das Frühstück zu erwähnen, aber auch der Komfort des Zimmers und die funktionale statt bloß am "Design" orientierte Badezimmereinrichtung.

에어컨이 없는 점만 빼면 모두 만족스러움. 직원들은 모두 매우 친절하며 상당히 괜찮은 아침 식사 제공. 청소상태도 매우 청결. 숙박기간 바로 옆에서 공사가 있어서 아침부터 시끄러운 점이 좀 아쉬웠음

ich in einem recht kleinen Zimmer im 3.Stock. Der Aufzug ging nur bis zum 2.Stock. Dann ging es mit Gepäck eine schmale Treppe hoch

Zimmer sehr geräumig, die Bettdecken sowie Kopfkissen sind eine Katastrophe. Ich habe selten so schlecht geschlafen!
