"We always stay at the Congress Plaza - it's fairly convenient, the rooms are quiet, the beds comfortable, the restaurants decent. It's about a 7-10 minute walk to the Blue line, but bus stops right at the hotel or across the street. The hotel decor is gorgeous and well-maintained, everything worked, but the water pressure wasn't great and it took a long time to get any hot water."

"Staff was welcoming and efficient. The hotel location was excellent. Valet parking is offered, which I would recommend, since everything you need is in walking diatance. The room was comfortable, but our view was terrible overlooking air conditioners and rusted water tanks to other buildings. "

"Second time staying here and I will not return. Staff was completely unaccommodating. My husband and I called 4 separate times to complain over a 2 day stay. We have stayed at multiple 4 and 5 star hotels and I don’t think I’d give LondonHouse a 3 even on their best day. Valet was rude, front desk was rude, spent 1k during our stay and the most they offered was a $50 food credit which I don’t even think they gave us because I never received a receipt (since when is that not standard?). The bed had a stain, there were gashes in the pull out couch, snags in the carpet. I was just completely unimpressed. So thank you, LondonHouse for ruining my birthday. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone."

"This hotel was centrally located steps from the River Walk and restaurants and was absolutely delightful. Gorgeous sitting room, beautiful sleeping rooms and they even had a Korean sheet mask in the bathroom upon arrival. "

"Yes! Everything was so close together only thing I’ll take away is not having a microwave in the room and the shower rod was kind of rusty. Along with a light not working but everything else was nice!"
