A few mins walk from lots of galleries, and plenty of lovely park walks from the door. Our room was upgraded, had everything, and spacious. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Here’s a polished, ready-to-post review: Crossbasket Castle & Hotel has to be one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The room was absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed and elegantly decorated and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding, with fantastic quality and choice. Delightful. The hostess goes out of her way to assist walkers. Little things, like putting transferred luggage into guests’ rooms, mean such a lot at the end of a long day’s walking. Delicious scones on arrival and very nice breakfast. Lots of tips for the West Highland Way.

I really liked this hotel. I didn’t notice any major issues, and overall it felt well run and comfortable. The location is excellent, with about a five-minute walk to the central station, around ten minutes to Queen Street station, and a subway nearby, so getting around is extremely convenient. Room is clean and staff is friendly

Easy walk with luggage from Glasgow train station. Property clean and great vibe. The room was a good size for 2 friends sharing. Great to have small kitchenette with dishwasher. Main city shops literally a 5 min walk.

I think this is the best place I’ve stayed for many years. Everything was wonderful. The room was fabulous, with extra touches like a record player and records. The bed was so comfortable it was a dream. The staff went above and beyond with the breakfast. I’m gluten free and they already had a good offering, but each day added even more. Very nice stay great breakfast , excellent staff

The host and staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was also spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great with amazing hot water and great pressure.

The apartment was excellent, spacious, modern and well equipped. Luggage room was a god send for pre and post checkin bag holding. Communication with the property was efficient and effective. Location a couple of minutes from train station and 10min walk to bus station. Lots of dining options near by. Only down side was being on the third floor with no lift. Will definitely be back.

Great old pub with great accomodation and food dining. We were greeted warmly and showed to our room. Everything was easy.

Great location, only a couple of minutes walk to main shopping strip and Central train station (you will meet some late night stragglers if you’re heading to an early morning train). Bed was super comfortable and shower was great. Plus windows did an excellent job of blocking outside noise.

The chap working on reception on our arrival was very helpful. He was also there when we checked out and even though he’d worked late the day prior, he was very helpful again in showing us on a map where we wanted to go and offered to store our luggage. He was very courteous
