Just about everywhere is walkable and there’s lots of nice places to eat, drink and shop in the immediate vicinity. Check in was easy, just needed to touch base with Marco before arriving. My Italian isn’t great but his English was impeccable. He is an excellent host! Would be more than happy to recommend. "

"Pros: Beautiful 15th century estate, renovated in most parts, nice staff, beautiful garden and outdoor pool, comfy beds, spacious bathroom. Many spots to relax by tall trees and enjoy the garden. All doors have security codes and the whole area feels very safe. Cons: Presence of Spiders and Mosquitos as expected from an estate in the middle of a garden, the restaurant needs a booking in advance and you can not just show up and that is understandable too, breakfast is good but not many options.
