Absolutely perfect for solo travellers as they have dedicated single rooms! Single bed with your own shower and toilet - why dont more hotels do this with purposely designed kne person rooms. Its a narrow room but it doesnt feel cramped at all. Location is great - on the harbour front just 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal however as always in Malaysia mind the cars and near all the main Penang streets. Good value - recommended.

Staff was the spotlight of this hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and always smiling. Room was clean and a/c worked well. We had the smaller room with a King bed in it, unfortunately there was little room left to open a small suitcase. I wish I booked a bigger room.

Looks normal business type or badjet type of hotel, however, atmosphere of inside is quite different. The hotel is compact in size, but inside the hotel you can enjoy nature and have space to relax and forget about time.　A perfectly clean, modern and comfortable hotel with everything in place. Located in a part of the historical district where dining is never a problem around, it is a well thought-out 21st century hotel that suits all single travellers, those travelling with friends and those travelling with family.　All staffs are very friendly and helpful for every needs. So lucky and happy to know here.

The SAVV was a lovely hotel, everyone was very welcoming and friendly. For us it was in a great position providing easy access to food courts, restaurants and the bus station etc. Breakfast was tasty with several local options available and powerful local coffee! We'd thoroughly recommend a visit.

Penang gem with awesome staff

Stellar service. Responsive friendly staff. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The people working here went out of their way to make our stay 10/10. Lovely bathroom, great bed and a quiet lush garden area. Pool small but great for a dip. On a busy street across from water - rooms totally quiet. Georgetown location means loads of eateries and close by park. Loved this place!

Fantastic stay at Savv Hotel

Overall it was super👍👍👍, hotel is new and clean. I was travelling with husband and 2 daughters age 11 & 14. Upon checked in, realized that room was provided with a king bed instead of 2 double bed as stated on the booking site. I told them my concern for everyone to have a good night's rest. As the hotel was fully booked, they quickly arranged a mattress for the first night, the following night a roll away bed greeted us when we returned. We couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was ok, for a small hotel set up, cooked to order eggs were available to my surprise, I had only expected simple continental breakfast. However, it would be great if the cooked items such as sausages, fried rice, fried rice noodles can be kept warm. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, including the security guard. They did their best to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Penang to consider Savv Hotel.

Wonderful hotel

Good location, friendly staff and comfortable room. Even we cannot get room on time, but everything in this hotel is perfect. One thing might need to improve, the water pressure is weak.

stayed in your hotel. The room is good, bright, spacious and airy. However the wall and ceiling thickness (carpet) may need to be improved to provide better noise insulation at night when quiet😜🐒. Location is unbeatable as located nearby some of the famous tourist attractions area😍. The staff was extremely helpful and polite too 👍👍🙏🙏.

Did everything right!

This is a hidden gem of sorts because it’s fairly new. But they have done everything right when it comes to a no frills, simple comfort, great value and amenity place. The reception was easy and friendly, the public spaces are fine and clean but the rooms truly are well designed, maintained, and is exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommend this place based on our stay.

Really well located right by the Ferry terminal - and then right in the heritage part of town. A new property that was designed very well. The grounds are especially lovely and a great place to have breakfast, a drink, or sit by the pool. Very friendly staff. Recommend highly.

Really happy with my short stay at Savv. First of all it's really close to the ferry so when i arrived in a thunderstorm I didn't get too wet! It's also very close to the heritage core including Armenian street. The staff are awesome, from the security, cleaning, breakfast lady to the front desk they were so helpful and friendly. The cabin room is very well designed and perfect for one person. Lovely hotel

Great location and wonderful staff. This place is without question, a hit for Georgetown. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The room did feel a little smaller than stated, but nevertheless we were happy here and would of stayed longer if we could of done. I did break a cup and they deducted it from the deposit, but nothing too horrendous, but bear in mind what could happen. There’s good eats not far away and it’s a nice location to get about for all the things locally. Would recommend and should we pass this way again, would certainly come back.

3 nights in Georgetown, Penang... SAVV hotel, is one of the nicest Hotels, I stayed in. All looks brand new, and very very well maintained. Staff very professional, friendly and service minded. Location is perfect, walking distance to many restaurants. I will definitely stay here again, next time I come to Penang. The breakfast area, nice and chilled But I personally missed some cheese or cold cuts, in the breakfast setup.

New Clean and Convenient Hotels with Great View

A new hotel by the jetty of georgetown. Pros: - Walking Distance to major tourist area including local eateries. - Very New hotel with Great view of either city centre, jetty or penang hill - friendy and helpful hotel staff including the guard. - in hotel parking space available but maybe limited if fully booked. - Small pool and relaxing open seating area at lobby was a good idea. - rooms are spacious,clean with well equiped amenities. - toilet and bathroom are well equiped however shower area may spill over to basin. Cons: - Wifi/internet is slow. a bit disappointing as was told to be high speed internet.
