"Phenomenal, fantastic, exceptional!! Exceptionally clean room, wonderful staff, washer and dryer, air conditioner that blows cold and a balcony as an extra bonus!! The area is absolutely magnificent for the supermarkets and shopping!!! Great places to eat!!! This location is walking distance to the one of the oldest temples!!! if you’re looking for an ideal place that has great logistics to get all over Tokyo. Call this home!! There are several train lines and buses right around the corner."

"I had myself a non-smoke single room. It was perfect. Read some comments about how small the room was but it was really that big of the deal as it had enough space for me for my suicases and stuff I bought during the trip. Staff was helpful with checking in & out. The ryokan was clean and well-maintained, but might get a bit crowded some late evenings. I recommend this property if you enjoy the more quiet,l side of Tokyo like I do. Also it close to Asakusa line, which offer direct trains to both Narita & Haneda Airport"

"Staff was friendly and speak English well. There was an in-unit laundry which was very helpful. We picked the Superior Japanese room and the room was clean and spacious for a family of four with two young children. 7-Eleven and Lawson were nearby. However, the subway station was about 10-15 mins walk, which was not the most convenient, and the hotel door will be locked after midnight and you would need an access code to enter the hotel, which made me wonder the safety of the area. The varieties of restaurants were not as much nearby, but presuming most travelers have made plans to eat elsewhere. We were there mainly for the zoo and it was convenient for that purpose."

"The location was very convenient. It was very close to the famous temple and not far from the subway station. I liked that they had free coffee and croissants. They also had free pajamas, toothpaste and slippers to use that you could get downstairs. The air conditioner was hard to figure out but we did somehow. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. They cleaned our sheets, made our bed, and cleaned the bathroom only once in 7 days which was a little strange but it didn’t bother us that much. But they brought fresh towels every day and emptied the garbage. The rooms are super small. We had to keep our suitcases under the beds. But overall, it was a very cute and convenient hotel."

"Clean room and very helpful staff. It's next to Ueshima Coffee shop and Tokyo Metro Line Entrance/Exit next to it. There is an elevator to underground passage to Keisei Ueno Station and JR Ueno Station near by. This is super convenient during hot and humid summer days or rainy days with luggages if you don't want to use footbridges to get to these stations."
