"This is an older mom and pop roadside motel. The owners are trying to maintain. We arrived late afternoon and our room key and instructions were on the office door. Room was small. Bathroom was small. Shower was small. Minimal number of electrical plugs so numerous extension cords for electrical users( refrigerator, microwave, lamps , cell phones). No ice machine. Full size mattress. For sale sign in front of property."

"My daughter is a student at NMU, so we have stayed here a couple times and will come back again! The house is lovely, fully equipped, and has a great view of a small lake across the way. The drive is about 25 minutes to the University, but the price is worth it as most places in Marquette are more expensive. We typically travel with our dog, and they always leave dog treats for us. The house is very clean and comfortable. We especially like the pellet grill on the back patio; we picked up some steaks in Marquette and grilled out....amazing! The kitchen has basic supplies, which is appreciated. The neighborhood is quiet, clean and safe. There's a small park around the corner and the neighborhood is nice for walking the dog. Will definitely be back again!"

"Beautiful property! Having your own serene private lake even for a week is something worth the cost of entry. The lake is great for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing with the boats all provided as well. There is a large outdoor sauna at the top of the steps down to the lake for continual jump in then warm up sessions. There's a well sized 6 bedroom main cabin and a smaller 1 bed kitchen bath cabin next door. The land has great space in the front and back for yard games and a nice fire pit and picnic table setup for lake views. The hosts have clearly thought through the logistics of big groups coming to stay as there are two stoves, two large fridges, and a section of tables to store food and coolers for multiple parties. Minor downsides: kitchen could use some more counter tops, shower heads should be updated to a taller spray head for tall guest comfort.All in this is a 5/5 property that is truly low hassle, relaxing, and the hosts are hands off and let you enjoy. Will be booking this stay again in the future!"

"This is our second time at this property. We enjoy the lake, it is low traffic and great for fishing. We rented the boat that is optional with the property, and it had a mechanical issue, and although it couldn’t be fixed, the matter was handled professionally and with fairness. The property is clean and has everything you need. We choose to bring our own cooking items, but there are lots provided. Overall for the price, very good value compared to other properties in the area."
