"The hotel was nice, perfect location beachfront, the staff were amazing the only complaint was the room were so outdated! We were on the 3rd floor and the room looked like from a 24hr motel. My friend had a room on the 7th floor and those were brand new! Beautiful rooms, night and day I would say. We didn’t complain about it we just made the best of it. But next time if I stay there I will request 7th floor or a way better room. FYI they charge for everything if you loose your key if you stain the sheets or towels which they were already lol. If you need and iron they lend it to you for only 2 hours. Other than that it was nice. "

"The staff was very kind, accommodating our family on very short notice after we were unable to leave the country as originally scheduled, due to the recent events in Puerto Vallarta and the state of Jalisco. The hotel itself is quite lovely, with architecture very typical of the colonial style of Puerto Vallarta's central, including a charming courtyard and indoor/outdoor dining area. Our room was well-appointed, with comfortable beds and beautiful saltillo tile floors. From the rooftop deck, you can enjoy great views of the ocean. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and you are also in walking distance of the Maleón and several beaches."

"We stayed at Hotel Eloisa during an unexpected period of unrest in the city, when fires and road closures meant we needed to shelter in place. What could have been a stressful experience was handled with remarkable calm and professionalism by the hotel team. The staff were steady, organized, and reassuring throughout. Although the hotel does not have a full restaurant, and all nearby shops and restaurants were closed, they cooked meals for guests, ensured we had drinking water, and remained present the entire time. It was clear they were choosing to stay and care for guests when they likely would have preferred to be home with their own families. Under normal circumstances, the location in Zona Romántica is ideal with ocean views, walkable, vibrant (request a courtyard room, if you like the quiet side). Under extraordinary circumstances, the character and commitment of the staff made all the difference. We would return, without hesitation."
