Lovely room in a quiet but central location about 15 minutes from the beach and midway between Zona Romántica and Malecón. Kind and helpful staff with very easy check in and check out!

The owners made certain we were comfortable and most helpful regarding the nearby market for shopping, which proved invaluable for getting local ingredients for cooking meals. Nice, fully furnished kitchen as well! This is not resort life by no means as you hear local children playing in the streets and the sounds of barking dogs, etc. The walk to the beach is maybe 8-10 minutes but often across rough pavements so not advised for anyone with walking or mobility issues. The balcony, although long, is thin and not suitable for enjoying a meal. Choose an upper floor if you wish to be above the electric lines that traverse eye level while seated, maybe three feet away. Bottom Line: wonderful base for exploring PV, large sitting room, great shower and the free laundry a godsend for anyone spending time in the water or on the beach.

Such a nice place! Will absolutely stay here again! Clean, courteous, full of amenities, spacious, comfortable, well-maintained, not dated, and well-situated in the neighborhood. Would have benefitted from some basic area information available in the room (like location of nearest ATM, as most local businesses only accept cash). But that’s what the internet is for. I highly recommend Spanish Moon!

Great accommodations!!! Freshly remodeled with all new kitchen and bathrooms. Everything that you could possibly need was present in our unit. Very conveniently located with restaurants, bakeries and stores minutes away. Less than a 10-minute walk to the beach. Loved this place!

Excellent!

A very well appointed and equipped studio, ideal for a solo traveller. It’s located in a quieter neighbourhood, but with several restaurants and bars nearby. It’ll be my go-to in PV from now on.

This place is beautiful. It is a little off the beaten path in a more residential neighborhood in PV. The amenities were lovely, and fully furnished for a short or long term stay. Full kitchen, large TV with Netflix, moderate sized bathroom and rainmaker shower with hot water, complimentary drinking water, etc...

Very comfortable suite with everything we needed to prepare simple meals, relax and enjoy the neighbourhood feeling. Close to the river which we walked along each day into town and the beach to swim. Markets and nice, small restaurants close by. Super staff that were always quick to answer our questions and help make arrangements. Loved every day here and would return in a heartbeat. Scrambling to find a room at the last minute when our flight was cancelled, we were able to find this lovely, newly renovated gem in old PV, quiet but near to restaurants, etc Pleasantly surprised. A bit of a hike upstairs to our room but there are ground floor options.

Excellent price for such roomy accommodations. Quiet neighborhood as well, quiet complex. A minor maintenance item was fixed immediately upon reporting. Most of the units are up a flight of stairs, so keep in mind if you have physical limitations. Would stay there again for sure.

Great stay here for 2 weeks. Will be back again, hopefully for an even longer stay-had a great studio with well equipped kitchen and a balcony. In older part of Zona Romantica so more of a true neighbourhood feel. Kids playing in the street etc. So it was sometimes noisy in evening but I did not impact me as I enjoyed the vibe but if you want quiet maybe not for you ;). Mercado with fruit and veggies 2 blocks away. Run by a nice family who are always available if needed and originally from USA so obviously speak fluent English.

The neighborhood is off the tourists path. Quiet and secured. The one bedroom 2bath apartment was a great size and had everything we needed. Would've been better if we had a heavier blanket on the bed. I am sure if we asked we'd probably Would've been given one. The air conditioner worked well, hence the heavier blanket needed. Owners were absolutely great. Very helpful and the property and rooms were spotless. Plenty of towels. Wash clothes. Makeup removal cloth.

Traveling with my two young adult sons for a long weekend, the Spanish Moon 2br/2ba unit was absolutely perfect for our needs in relation to the cost. Extremely great value, wonderful attentive service, and we loved the area with a little bodega across the street, and the charms of an authentic Mexican neighborhood with real neighbors, outside the tourist zone, with lovely Señoras selling delicious tamales and a pineapple & lime truck on the corner. We walked 17 miles one of the days and it was a perfect home base. Beds are simple and clean, kitchen is well stocked and above and beyond what we even needed, great A/C, well appointed bathrooms and other simple amenities, the rooftop is really cool to chill and have coffee or cocktails in the evening, and our little balcony where we could sit out and watch the goings on on the street below was very cute and charming. We loved it! We'll stay there again and recommend it to our friends. Trust me it's a very very solid option.

The good: This property is a good value for the price. It’s clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable, AC and water pressure are good. There are large bottles of water in the rooms provided which is great. It’s a 7 block walk to the main area of the romantic zone but the walk is easy and there are ton of things to explore along the way. I did not use the patio or laundry but they did inform me when checking in about these nice added amenities. The bad: Word of warning if you are a late sleeper. It is very loud in the morning during the week. There is a large crowd of kids and adults that get together every morning for a couple hours and play games or something right next to the property. They are all yelling and screaming in excitement together at the top of their lungs, the whole time while playing the games. This is consistent every morning for a few hours. The towels in the room are not great and they leave tons of fuzz all over your body, I tried several and they were all the same. I’m glad a brought my own beach towel because that is what I used. My room had a door into another room so that the 2 could be combine for families which is great but you could hear everything between the rooms as if it were in your own room, even with the door closed. So Not much privacy there. I don’t think all units have adjoining rooms so this might have been unique to this unit. All in all it was positive experience and I would stay again.
