"The communication with the hostess was excellent. She reached out with a lovely welcome letter when we booked. 3 days before our stay she gave us the code and simple instructions needed to gain access. We had our own parking spot right at the short path to where we stayed. The place was clean. Had welcome candies! Lots of space in all of the rooms. We right away felt at home. There were a few items missing in the kitchen (a can opener and scissors), I sent a message seeing if we could get some for the next evening when we would need to use them, and she replied right away and had them to us the next day. (We cooked all our breakfast and dinners, and made our lunches for the road. 20 minutes from the harbour. It was a busy road, so we pulled in, and then went out in the evening when it was less busy to back the car in, making it easy to leave in the mornings. The place had AC, but we found we did not need it as it was cooler in the evening, and it is a basement apartment, so it's already cooler making it perfect for sleeping. Beds were comfortable. One room had a nice desk in it, so if you are traveling for work then there is a great space for you. We had been on the road for 9 days, so having laundry right in our unit was one of the reasons we picked this place. It made it easy to do a few loads while relaxing in the living room, or while making dinner. There were hangers in the closets so I could hang clothes that I don't put in the drying. We would definitely book again."

"We had a great stay overall. There was plenty of space inside the home and a beautiful backyard with a nice hot tub. There were also forested trails quite close-by. The kitchen was as advertised - lots of dishes and cookware and almost everything we needed. Added touches included chocolates on the table and ice water in the fridge when we arrived. "

"Myself and three others stayed in the suite for one night. It was easy to check in, clean, and well decorated. The place is a bit worn in appearance and some supplies were too low for one use, like coffee and dish soap. The beds were comfortable which is always appreciated. The two bedrooms were separated by a hallway which helped limit sound transfer. Overall, it was a good stay and very affordable for the area. Check in information was not available until a couple hours before check in was available. The host was polite and responded in good time to messages."
