Great hotel not too far from the city

We had a great stay at this hotel - it was not too far from Halifax only about a 12 min drive to North end. Hotel was new and in good condition, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast each day as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again if I have a car.

Our check in was welcoming. Our room was clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was okay (no hot items like eggs or bacon). We would definitely stay there again.

I awsys use the Coastal Inn while in Halifax. The staff are courteous and helpful. I always like its location that enablesme to travel to Mahone Bay. Peggy's Cove, etc.

This hotel is very old, the rooms are spacious and well laid out but some updates need to be made, I know we stayed in a renovated room last year and it was nicer than the room we stayed in this time. The hair dryer in our room was broken (and dangerous) but the care taken by the staff was appreciated and If they can get all the spaces updated I'm certain this will continue to be a great hotel.
