"Very friendly staff. Room was very clean and heating worked well. Breakfast was a little less than what we had anticipated but it was free! Close to town and lake."

"The hotel itself was amazing. Room was really clean. Promised a bay view but view was more like 50 percent parking lot. Complimentary water/wine offered at check in was a nice touch. Heated outdoor pool was a cool idea. Sauna was nice too. All in all it was a great stay!"

Ah yes, the cleaning staff, so friendly and always acknowledging guests in passing. The rooms? Spotless, ditto for hallways, and public restrooms."

"The room was clean. Mix of Home Depot countertops and mismatched furniture. The fire alarm started beeping intermittently staring at 6:30 am. Decided to go out for breakfast and called the front desk when I got back and they said they would come by to check it and nobody ever came. I stayed until check out with earbuds in, still hearing a beep about every 60 seconds. This was very frustrating and I will not go back because of it"

"Great location, super clean, plenty of space, nice balcony area, and appreciated the dedicated parking space. Several stairs entering the unit, and bedrooms are up another set of stairs. Check in and out was a breeze. Quiet space, nicely updated, and quality sheets, toilet paper, and shower products. Didn’t use the kitchen, but a plethora of plates, utensils, and kitchen gadgets that would make this a great stay for groups and families."

"The location, amenities, and the overall comfort of this townhouse are top notch. We wanted a solid home-like environment given how erratic the spring is in Michigan, and the Hygge townhouse was perfect. Plenty of space and very cozy, and very close to downtown. Also, the responsiveness from the owner was the best we have ever had. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again. "
