"Le Verge is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The grounds are superb and extremely well looked after. Our room was spacious and clean and included everything we needed. Our stay was made perfect by our wonderful host, Maxime. He was attentive from the moment we arrived, he recommended the best local restaurants, cared for guests at reception and also prepared food. "Situated in beautiful countryside just on the outskirts of Frejus, this hotel is situated adjacent to a lovely vineyard. There is a shop where you can buy wine and foodie gifts. Our room was very thoughtfully laid out with a spacious bathroom with a good shower. We had dinner and breakfast sitting outside in the pretty courtyard garden, both meals were both excellent. I wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We've had mixed feeling about our stay. Check-in by the manager was a bit rude and unfriendly. One breakfast staff was extremely nice, but the other one looked a bit grumpy. The room was OK, but quite a few fixtures were broken (shower head holder, TP holder). Also, toilet and shower are separate, which is a bit awkward. We were there on a Thursday, and the restaurant was closed. So we had to walk 5-10mn on the side of a busy road with almost no sidewalk to get to the nearest restaurant. And...

"Great location for exploring stea. Only 15 to 20 min to either st tropez or pamelonne beach or even nicer beaches on the other side of peninsula. I loved Cogolin itself, just walking out of hotel for morning coffee or wine on little main square. It is a town that lives by itself apart tourists. Very French:)"
