A charming and comfortable 3 double bedroom house in THE HEART OF THE HISTORICAL CENTRE of Frejus, an 800m walk from the entrance to the NATURE RESERVE Base Nature François Léotard, and 1.8 km to its STUNNING SAND BEACH situated within 85 hectares of the protected nature reserve, and offering abundant OPEN ACCESS sports facilities, pistes for cycling, roller skating, a LARGE SKATEBOARD PARK park and cross bike piste, as well as football and basketball pitches.
FREJUS HARBOUR, with its many restaurants, bars, diving schools etc is only 2km away.
A local bus takes you to the seafront in minutes and stops just a couple of minutes from the house.
Very rare (!) this charming townhouse in the centre of the historic Roman village of Frejus has its own garage, ideal for motor-bikes, bikes, diving equipment or kayaks or windsurf boards. (Please note: garage entrance and street are narrow, not all cars will fit! Garage gate is 2m 5cm wide and the narrowest part of the street in front is just over 5m wide. We just about manage to park our VW Touran).
Frejus is also easily accessed from the motorway, making it ideal to explore the region by car. Nice airport is 60km away. The house is also perfect for a holiday without a car. Minutes from the local train station, and a 10 min stroll from bus stops for regional buses, it is a perfect pied-a-terre to visit the entire Cote d'Azur without a car, from Monaco to Arles or Marseille. Nice airport is an hour away by bus or train.
The house offers the charm a Provencal village, with its brasseries, local bakeries, fromagerie, butchers, brasseries and its Provencal market. Home to internationally noted archaeological sites, Frejus has a beautiful square with a cathedral and monastery, as well as a Roman arena.
You are also close to Saint Raphael with its nightlife, water sports and stunningly beautiful bay, lined with palm trees. Popular amusement parks like Luna Park and Aqualand are very close by.
The house offers a cosy and fully equipped open-plan kitchen and living room on the first floor; 2 double bedrooms, one bathroom and toilet; and a king size bedroom on the top floor. A spacious and welcoming home for short or long seasonal stays, ideal for a beach holiday in close proximity to the beaches and harbours of Frejus and St Raphael. The area's dramatic red rocks and breathtaking landscape is a favourite with hikers, cyclists and climbers.

However, a summer night with open windows may let in some of the city bustle and the occasional sound of a passing TGV fast train. From the master bedroom, it is sometimes possible to hear the distant sounds of the amusement park Luna Park, which is 2.2km away. Windows are double glazed and a mobile air conditioner is installed both in the master bedroom and in the open plan kitchen/living room.
Please note, also, that the house has three flights of stairs to the top bedroom.

Property is just 100m from the train station, so is a great base if you're using public transport. Aircon in the lounge/kitchen area was very welcome as were the fans in the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and loved Frejus.
Fréjus--a hidden gem between Cannes and St. Tropez
My husband, sister-in-law, and I spent two weeks in this inviting town house in the center of the Fréjus. Its location in the small, historic center contrasted nicely to the vibrant beach life, easily accessible by local transport or by car. The 3-floor residence was clean, and the kitchen surprisingly large and well-equipped for all one's cooking needs. Air-conditioning in all the rooms was much appreciated as we had some really warm days. Located on a narrow street, the garage was a bit tricky to navigate but we were happy to have a space to park our small Honda. It's a stone-throw from the Fréjus from the train station so if you don't have a car, you can certainly travel the Côte d'Azur without any problem. We took the train from the Nice airport on our arrival from Boston-via Paris. We appreciated very much the excellent communication with Cecile, who really wanted us to enjoy our stay, and we definitely did! My only caution would be to understand that there are three floors to the town house...if one has mobility issues, it could present a challenge.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt, mitten in der Altstadt mit unter den Einwohnern. Ein ganz besonderer Charme! Alles was man braucht ist um die „Ecke“, Bars, Restaurants, Einkauf. Gemütliche Plätze zum verweilen. Bis in den Hafen 20 Min zu Fuß. Toller Strand.
Bel appartement, sur trois étages. Chambres et salle de bains au deuxième et troisième. Très bonne prestations.
Dommage que les jeunes voisins soient bruyants la nuit et que l'on ressente des odeurs de volutes.
Magnifique petite maison authentique et chaleureuses.
Équipements de très bonne qualité, on s'y sens bien immédiatement.
Accueil au top... avec l'intonation chantante des films de Pagnol.
Je recommande sans hésiter.

Beautiful appartment in the nostalgie old centre of frejus
Together with my wife and two your daugthers we had a wonderful vacation. The appartment is situated directly in the old centre of frejus. Its a very nice appartement with plenty of space and tidy and clean. The garage requirers some skilled parking capabilities but is nice to have! The host was very helpful and friendly and we could recommend the appartment for people looking for a great place to stay!

Fantastic town house in centre of old Frejus
This is a lovely town house in the centre of old Frejus, with the bonus of a garage, as parking can be difficult in the whole region. The house is exactly as described and really clean, with everything you need. It was lovely to find a nice bottle of wine, juice and water in the fridge. Nothing is too much trouble for Cecile - she was very quick to respond to our questions about the area, good restaurants etc. Her recommendation for L’Amandier in the old town was brilliant - a lovely restaurant in a vaulted room (you need to book and ask for a table in the vaulted area as it’s lovely). Nadege who greeted us on arrival could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The property is in the old town but a very easy and pleasant stroll to the beach / harbour down a cycle path (very small road) and then along the harbour. I would absolutely recommend this property and will be returning myself as soon as I can.
