Gite la Maison du Monde, is a charming country house, located in the Loire Valley, in Francueil, 1km from Chenonceuax, within an area of almost 1 hectare, it has 6 rooms (14 people) distributed in 2 independent apartments .

The property also has an outdoor pool (11m x 6m) open from May to October.

Casa del Arte is close to many tourist sites, such as the Chenonceaux Castle and the Cher River, 5 minutes by car, 10 by bike; Amboise, Le Clos Luce, Montresor, Montpoupon, Loches 20 minutes by car; Beauval Zoo, Blois, Chambord, Chinon, Langeais, Samur, Tours 40 minutes by car.

Why "House of Art"? , its owner Philosopher and Collector lived in Africa, Latin America and Oceania, the objects and paintings that decorate the property connect us with the history of those places, in addition Christopher Emmanuel Bouchet, 1 Berlin Wall Painter I live 7 years on the property, the fourth of the stories was painted by him in that period: access to his paintings, sculptures, biography is possible. The property's gardens are decorated with sculptures such as the Sun, The boy who rises to the moon, "The Eye of the Cyclops"

Amazing place to stay. House, grounds, and pool were perfect for the 9 of us to relax around. Leticia was a fantastic host, friendly and very helpful. Francueil is a lovely village; great Boulangerie and an easy drive to all the places we wanted to go to in the Loire.

Wonderful characterful property with amazing artworks throughout and in the beautiful grounds. Lovely swimming pool. Kitchen fully equipped with plenty of room but we sat outside to eat all the time next to the wonderful smelling lavender plants. Our host could not have been nicer or more helpful especially when one of our party was unwell. I cannot recommend enough. There is a Le Relais restaurant around 5 min walk which is cheap and good for a very relaxed unfussy lunch and lots of very good restaurants a short drive away. Again if you want a wonderful relaxed place to stay with a superb host this property is perfect.

L'annonce mentionnait 10 personnes, il manquait un lit....la proprete de la piscine n'était pas top, nous avons mis le robot. De plus il faudrait preciser que les 2 toilettes sont en haut pour les personnes handicapées ou âgées c'est très compliqué...le cadre et parc tres agréable . Nous avons passé un très bon we malgré tout...

Wonderful Property

We chose this property for its central location to visit the Chateaus of the Loire and it did not disappoint. Francueil was a perfect location almost within walking distance of the gorgeous Chateau Chenoceau and within 40 minutes of most others. The property looked just as the photos described amd the pool was a welcome amenity to cool off after a long day of exploring. Leticia, the owner, lives in a separate apartment and is almost invisible, except the exact instant you might need her assistance, and then she is ready to help with suggestions on where to shop, dine, or places to visit. Our only disappointment was that our stay was too short as we had to leave for Bordeaux after two days. We hope to be back again.

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Leticia. La maison est spacieuse avec beaucoup de charme, la literie de qualité et dans l'ensemble très propre. Nous étions un grand groupe avec des enfants de 9, 11, et 14 ans, 1 jeune adulte de 20 ans, et des 6 adultes entre 40-75 ans. Les enfants ont beaucoup aimé le salon du 1er étage avec le babyfoot, alors que les plus grand ont pu profiter du salon-salle à manger avec sa cheminée. L'acceuil était très agréable, Léticia est une hôte remarquable et la communication avant notre arrivée était très facile. Nous y avons séjourné en hiver donc nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine.

Top locatie om de Loirestreek te verkennen

Ideale uitvalbasis om de streek rond de Loire met zijn vele kastelen en oude steden te verkennen. Aangenaam verblijf met een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw (Letitia) die geregeld langs kwam om te informeren of alles in orde was. Goed ontvangen en volledige rondleiding met duidelijke uitleg gekregen. Topper was het verzorgd zwembad. Ideaal om na een uitstap een frisse duik te nemen. Ruime slaapkamers, goed ingerichte keuken met nieuwe apparaten. Veel ruimte buiten met terras en tuin met ligstoelen (zowel in zon of in de schaduw). Ook een pingpongtafel aanwezig (in zeer goede staat). Veel ruimte om te parkeren. Een aanrader. Merci Letitia voor het aangename verblijf.

Prima verblijf als tussenstop

Prachtige locatie met mooie, ruime tuin en zwembad. Ook zeer aardig ontvangen door eigenaresse. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien, zodat je eenvoudig hier kunt blijven voor eten/ BBQ etc. Op enkele km's afstand is het kasteel Chenonceaux te vinden. Deze is zeker een bezoek waard. Kritiekpunt is wel dat de bedden voor verbetering vatbaar zijn, De matrassen zijn veel te zacht, waardoor je de volgende ochtend last van je rug hebt.

Logement de charme idéal et cohérent avec la visite des châteaux de la Loire

Le logement est agréable, bien agencé et facile à vivre. Les chambres sont confortables et le linge de maison de grande qualité est un vrai plus assez rare. La localisation est Top pour rayonner vers les châteaux de la Loire ... et il y a le choix. Sans oublier l'accueil facile et agréable de notre contact particulièrement aimable et sympathique.
