"It is a nice size room for NY, clean and functional. We rented a room with two double beds (4 adults) and we all were comfortable. It is fairly quiet, the neighborhood is decent, subway is just 150 feet from the hotel door and it is a short walk to Central Park. Great restaurants in the area on Amsterdam Ave. Staff were very friendly and helpful and didn't mind keeping our suitcases on the last day after check out until we had to head to the airport. Will definitely book here again when I go to NY"

"The hotel is a block from Madison Square Garden. Plenty of restaurants near by. The room was ok. Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions."

"I appreciate it is a historic building but the room was in desperate need of an update. Pillows were good, mattress was uncomfortable, and bathroom was awful. Especially the dirty shower curtain and shower head."

"Great hotel!! Staff was amazing! I had a corner room with a fabulous view of Times Square. I flew in from Louisiana and wasn’t accustomed to the chilly temperatures. I called the front desk to inquire about the heater in my room and was told it wasn’t on due to it not being winter but they immediately offered to bring me two extra comforters that were perfect. Also, there’s no microwave nor refrigerator in the room. You can’t bring leftovers from dining into your room to store or warm up later. Overall, you’re walking distance to all the hot spots in New York. I did get a Lyft to visit the 911 Memorial and I got one for Top of the Rock only because I didn’t want to walk in the rain but I walked back. The hotel is beautiful. Really enjoyed my stay."

The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast and the bar area were both great, and the overall atmosphere made the experience feel relaxing and luxurious. The location was convenient and perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting!"
