"The house was beautiful and felt like home (a REALLY nice home!) from the beginning. The primary bedroom was absolutely gorgeous and the other rooms were very comfortable as well. The location was great - walking distance to coffee, bagels, restaurants and ice cream which was very important to us. The proximity to the beach could not be beat and we visited it daily and always enjoyed the sights and sounds. "Asa’s home was perfect for our family vacation of 4 (including our dog), but can accommodate many more - The view was so delightful (amazing) that it was difficult to leave each day to explore Newport and the surrounding area. Check-in was a breeze as Asa met us upon arrival to explain everything about the house. The house was lovely and comfortable. It was well-stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Getting to Newport was very easy as the house is close to the Jamestown Bridge. Narragansett is just a short drive away. We also enjoyed visiting the birthplace of Gilbert Stuart, the famous portrait artist. Much to do in the area but we really enjoyed just relaxing at this lovely home. We would not hesitate to recommend Asa’s getaway and we look forward to returning!"
