I arrived unexpectedly early, and they worked hard to get me installed in a room, even though they were under no obligation to do so. High recommend."

"We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. A cardinal’s nest right outside the screened porch was an unexpected delight! Sunset was beautiful over the valley! The cabin itself was thoughtfully appointed, clean, and perfect for our one night away. One heads up that there are motion lights outside. We didn’t notice these during the day (because they’re also seemingly dusk-to-dawn only) and when they lit up after we were in bed (probably from an animal), it was a little alarming."
