"Here’s a polished rewording of your travel note, Budget-Friendly Travel Guide
This spot is perfect if you’re looking to save money. Rent a small, charming car from Budget for about $40 a day—it’s worth it. The hotel sits near West Bay and St. Albans Street; if you spot Ace Hardware, you’re close.
- Hotel:
- Rooms are clean, and the staff is attentive and respectful.
- Room service is available upon request.
- The property features palm trees and gardens, which add to the relaxing atmosphere.
- Transportation:
- Without a rental car, expect to pay around $55 for three people from the airport to the hotel.
- Local buses are a great option: they cost $1.50, are yellow with benches at stops, and run along West Bay Street.
- Westbound buses can take you to Goodman’s Bay or all the way to Nirvana Bar, where $5 grants access to Love Beach.
- Eastbound buses lead to Junkanoo Beach, the Straw Market, and downtown Nassau—though expect cruise ship crowds.
- Always ask about the last bus pickup time so you don’t get stranded.
- Dining & Amenities:
- Breakfast includes rotating options like eggs, sausage, or omelets, plus waffles, oatmeal, cereal, and fruit (oranges, apples, bananas). Drinks include water, milk, orange juice, and coffee.
- There’s a pool, and happy hour starts at 7:30 p.m. by the pool with a DJ. The night staff are friendly—try the punch!

2-bedroom house in Nassau near downtown and the beach with Wi-Fi and AC

"The home was clean and tastefully and modernly decorated. There was more than sufficient kitchen utensils. I was so impressed by the library of book and variety of games. I would definitely choose this home again"
Nassau Hideaway: Steps away from the beach, Down Town, Cable Beach, PI & more.

"Very clean and tidy apartment - perfect for a weekend home base while we explored the area. Air conditioners in the bedrooms and main living space kept us comfortable and cool in the summer heat. The neighborhood was quiet and the apartment had plenty of linens and towels as well as kitchen cooking supplies for our stay. Anthony was a kind and responsive host. Check in and check out process was also seamless."
Charming 2-bedroom apartment with WiFi, AC in lovely Nassau
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay and the host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome, and whatever the issues we experienced (like a super outdated and rusty, yet functional washing machine) and gigantic super thick pillows, the host promised to fix them promptly, so they probably won't be issues when you stay there. The neighborhood felt safe to the degree that the gate doesn't even need to be locked at night. The house was sparkling clean. On a rainy day the host even showed up with an umbrella for us to use, which was super sweet! Make sure you ask him how to find and use the protective nets on the windows, they are there but we had no idea! The "Uber" service recommended by the host provided cost-saving and reliable alternative to the local taxis, which we appreciated. You may find the local stores overpriced and lacking, which is the reality of living on the island, according to our host and drivers, but there's a store called Fresh Mart or Fresh Market in Nassau that is like a local Whole Foods and carries many of the iterations of the items that you probably consider staples, especially when traveling with kids. The house was good for a family of 4 with kids, but it would have been absolutely perfect for a solo traveler, couple or a group adults or adults with older kids, too. "
