No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've prepared well. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will help get your Phillip Island holiday started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:

• A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you carry the right gear. • Choosing your footwear wisely can save you valuable minutes. Hiking boots are often required to be removed and separately scanned. Slip-on sneakers are usually not.
• Sharp items such as knives and scissors are not allowed in the cabin. They'll be seized at security, so pack them in your checked bags.
