In the summer months from June to August, Lisbon enjoys pleasant weather, with temperatures averaging 25 degrees Celsius during the day, making it perfect weather to spend an afternoon at the beach. During this time period, hotels tend to be more expensive and popular attractions become filled with eager tourists.

Shoulder Season:

The best time to book flights to Lisbon is between March and May and September and October. The weather is cooler, with temperatures hovering between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius, but it’s still enjoyable, especially for walking around the city.

LIS airport provides the international gateway to Portugal. Once you land, there are several means of transportation available. The airport features an underground station, which provides a metro line that services the city centre. There are also various city buses, such as AeroBus, that stop outside the Terminal 1 arrivals location. Alternatively, you can always hail a taxi outside of the terminal to take you to your final destination.
