Enjoy this secluded cabin tucked in the tall sierra pines of Fish Camp, the mountain town ideally located just a few minutes from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. The open living area invites you in to a cozy living room with beautiful deck views, and a stone fireplace. The vaulted ceiling opens to the upstairs hall and bedrooms. The kitchen has been updated and is fully equipped for cooking and dining at the house. Please be advised that this home has a narrow and steep driveway with sharp turns for access. The home also has a washer and dryer. The cabin is also near the Wawona History Center and 9-hole golf course — the only golf course in a national park. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles away, where you can enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The Pines Village at the lake provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is also nearby, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall.

Excellent stay. Very close to south entrance of Yosemite. Chain grocery store (Raley's) within 30 minutes of cabin to purchase food and essentials. Plenty of pots/pans for cooking as well as a slow cooker, grill, coffee maker, etc. Invited family are looking to book this property in the future and we certainly will should we have the need.
This is a great location just outside the South Gate to yosemite. Perfect for a family they had everything you need. Driveway is a little narrow but that is mentioned before arriving.

Beautiful Cabin
We enjoyed the cabin very much, it had all the amenities you need, very well stocked. Lower bunk bed was a little lumpy, but other than that it was perfect, would rent this cabin again.

Great stay!
We had a great time at our stay at this cozy home! It was a great base for visiting Yosemite National Park. The home was spacious and clean allowing for a relaxing stay. Future guests should keep in mind that while the Yosemite entrance is very close, that the entrance can get backed up with traffic.
The cabin was really cute, exactly as pictured. Really close to Tenaya Lodge and the snow play area. Has everything you need for a stay in the mountains. Only suggestion would be additional eating utensils.

Great for a private family
This is our first time booking with vacasa at Silvertip lodge and it was great. It was a little hard to park my Yukon and corvette infront of door due to steep climb but got used to it. Had a great time and sleep in the lodge.

Quiet, peaceful and rustic.
Such an awesome place to come back too after some awesome hikes through Yosemite. Very close to entrance and breathtaking views all the way to the waterfalls. 4/24-4/28/2024
Cabin is clean and cozy. They supply everything you will need for your stay and is also just a few minutes outside of the yosemite southside gates. What more can you ask for
Overall a nice place to stay. Everything was clean, the heater worked well, the kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils and appliances. The only caveats were the driveway which was a bit tricky to maneuver and the stairway to the front door. The property is not wheelchair friendly. The electric stove was a bit of a learning curve. When combined with the higher altitude, we had to double the time we set aside for cooking meals. The decor was nice and it was a short drive, maybe 10 minutes, to the Yosemite entrance. Would recommend
Really clean and peaceful lodge with everything we needed for our family's trip to yosemite. Would thoroughly recommend it. Really close to the southern park entrance so easy to get into the park.

awesome property, great owner, great location
i've had the good luck of staying at this home a few times now, dating back to 2018. it's perfectly located for adventuring into yosemite, and it's also right next to the general store. location is, in other words, ideal. the home itself has everything you need -- a barbecue, two nice bathrooms, comfy beds, lots of kitchenware, natural soap / shampoo / conditioner. the family that owns this property clearly treat it with love and care, and it shows. heartily recommend and am looking forward to my next visit.

Nice location insufficient services
The house is located very close to the south entrance of Yosemite. It is surrounded by beautiful trees. There is not enough shampoos and soaps provided in the room. It is also very hard to reach any local support person. For the two times I tried, the operator can only read off a description on the website. For the price paid to rent this location, much better services are expected.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Nice property
Had to follow up with the property managers to get the check in process. Emailed and called multiple times. Finally got the information when we were on the road. Advertised that couch turns into bed but there are no extra bedding for the couch. Overall, nice property. Property management has poor communication and comes across rude.

Comfortable home
Well stocked kitchen, comfortable home. One hour from the valley, 10 minutes big trees.
