This remodeled home is just two miles from the south gate entrance to Yosemite National Park. It is perfect for exploring the park, hiking the Sierra National Forest, or resting on the spacious deck surrounded by beautiful trees! Every effort has been made to make this a comfortable and fun experience for your family and friends. Make a gourmet meal in the well-equipped kitchen with plenty of tools and utensils for cooking and baking or barbecue on the deck while taking in the fresh mountain air. Relax in the evening, gaze at the stars, or take in a movie with the large smart TV. There is also free WiFi and plenty of games and movies to enjoy. There's also wireless internet to stay connected at this cozy cabin. The cabin includes a loft with an additional bed. Air-conditioning cools the entire house, and heaters throughout keep everyone relaxed and comfortable. There's a full bathroom and a half bathroom. This home has a steep and narrow driveway 4x4 and chains are required in the winter.
Fish Camp is just outside Yosemite National Park's southern entrance, surrounded by Sierra National Forest, located at 5,000 feet elevation, which means cool summer mornings and evenings and comfortable daytime temperatures. Ten miles to the south is Bass Lake, with fishing, boating, and swimming. There's horseback riding, short hikes to waterfalls, and the Sugar Pine Railroad two miles away. Just inside Yosemite's gate, three miles away, is the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias - some of earth's largest, most breathtaking trees. Twelve miles to the south is Oakhurst, with shops, grocery stores, entertainment, and art galleries. Four miles into Yosemite is the village of Wawona, with horseback riding, golfing, stagecoach rides, dining, and a seasonal pioneer history center. There are several restaurant options, and our favorite little general store is less than a mile away.
This hilltop cabin is a treasured place, and a fantastic stay awaits!
